- I love them too... but since Cahik got upset about the Dwarven Models I must ask him about these too, cause I woould probably alter the skins slightly to match all other Gondorians, and he might not like that....

- Same answer ^ Must ask, cause I wasn't really gonna keep that skin EXACTLY. They would use the same skins as the other Gondor soldiers... These might be scrapped and replaced by Windu's Models (and skins) in case Cahik won't approve =p

Fountain Guards do not use shields! (I checked the movies) :p

Lets hope Cahik gives us his blessings then.

As long as they have a better weaopn then a pike Im happy. Perhaps just a simple sword? That sword come up just a bit past his head. The game soldeir have pikes that are 150% their height.

- <pending> "Summon Master" for Sauron (Gives Morgoth for 30 seconds!)

Dare I ask...How/why do you plan to do this? You dont like the idea of Elendil, a mortal man, in the game because hes been dead for 3000 years but you plan to add Morgoth, a Vala, who has been imprisoned by the rest of the Valar in the Door of Night gaurded by Earendil(sp?) for two ages?
Realistically, even in his weakened state, Morgoth should be able to wipe out every enemy on the map with a few smacks of Grond.

I know... isn't it cool? ;) :p

Point is, I don't have logical answers to EVERYTHING. Some things I just do or don't do cause I either like them or don't like them. After all... this whole thing (SEE) was never really intended for anyone else. It just became that way when things grew and grew. =p

I have Smaug in the game... haven't I? He's also dead. The biggest reason for me not adding too many "dead" heroes is not of MY "laws" actually, but of all the complaining from Players constantly reminding me of who's been dead for ages and who's not ;)

Personally I'd like to have Isildur as a summon of some sort...
I'd like to ad The Great Goblin...
...and many "dead" Dwarven Heroes. It's merely a question of who I should upset? Those saying X or those saying Y? That's modding for ya :)

what's his name for Gondor - Beregond? (captain of Citadel Guard)...

Beregond average Citadel Guard
Boromir the Captain of Citadel Guard

(Beregond did not figure in the film)

You put it in instead Imrahil.

Naz, about the Helm's Deep veterans: I think he means they never appeared at Helm's Deep in the books, but they did in the movies.

an actual reason not to name them Helm's Deep veterans is that (at least it appears) none of the elves survived the attack at Helm's Deep in the movie.

Yeah, better call them 'Helm's Deep Veteran Wannbees' ;)

No, adummy is right about that. They never came back. So we should maybe rather consider the Sindar Warriors to besomething like Knights amongst Footsoldiers. (They are considered nobility compared to the more numerous Woodelves). The Noldor Warriors are basically all Kings and Queens. But i guess the name 'Noldor' says it all anyway.

My point being: 'Sindar Warriors' or 'Sindar Knights' would be better. The Helm's Deep connection is very movie like, i know, but really, none survived (that we know of). Especially not Haldir.
But hey, maybe the battle at Helm's Deep was won much easier! The Elves including Haldir survived. Even Boromir (dead one episode before) has shown up, since he cracked Lurtz's skull.

Basically, il would like to consider the game to start right before the events of the war of the ring. That's the ONLY valid reason for me to give them another name. I'm certain they wouldn't use a name like that themselves or be given that name by friends.

*rant end*

I don't care

I like the Sindar Warriors name better. Has more of an Elvish feel to it.

Beregond was just an average member of the Citedel Gaurd. No hero.

Boromir was called Captain of the White Tower, High Warden of the White Tower, and Steward-prince of Gondor. Not Captain of the Citedel Gaurd.

If you want a hero to be Captain of the Rohan Elite Soldiers(which I suggest we call Meduseld Gaurd) then you should put Hama. He was the the gate keeper at the Golden Hall, the one who asked Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, and Gandalf to put their weapons down.

Nazgul regarding the allies building near your fortress thing I remeber you once said that the AI is inly programed to build so many farms, around 5-8. Well Ive concluded this cant be true because after extensiver testing i have found this is what the AI thinks on farms: If there is room, build a farm. And sometimes build one even if theres not.
Perhaps you could recheck this?

My memeory is like of a 3000 yo mummie... so I'm not sure :p
Did I say that really?

Anyway:

BFME2: 6 farms (minimum)
SEE early stages: 20 farms
Now: back to 6

These are minimum though and not absolute numbers... But Beta IV still have the 20 setting...

I think the AI needs a maz of like 10 and a min of 6. Honestly 20 is way too much. With that many farms the penalty is going to be pretty big. And with so many out their they are going to be destoyed alot and the penalty will rack up some more.

Also this brings me to the idea that when a farm is destroyed the penalty that farm gave on the resources should be removed.

Im not a 100% on this but I dont think it does. I also noticed the penalty kicks in once the farm begins construction, while it should when its finished? Just a thought...
