Well, I just started modding ROTWK and I used to do a little modding on Rome: TW, but I need help:
1. How do I add objects, such as a crown, to origional models like Aragorn?
2. I have no clue how to make or add textures to models.
If anyone could point me out to some good tutorials, give me tips, or a good forum entry (I stink at search), that would really help me out alot.

Well, to add this new objects you need to:

-Modify the model
-Add subobjects (at what I am not specializied)

And, the answer to 2º question, look in this forum for a topic by Athem saying "Modeller and Skinner NOOB" That could help you

Me again. Well, I know that I need w3d importer, gmax, and renx, but I tried to find an online gmax download, but according to wikipedia, gmax was discontinued, and the website that origionally hosted it dropped the link. I searched on google forever, but there's no working links to download gmax. Can someone give me one? Also, do I have to have gmax before I should download renx?

Thanks. Also, is there any specific program that lets me view and change model textures? I wanted to make a King Aragorn (durring his crowning at the end of the movie, with special armor and crown) and I don't know what program to use or how to do it. Sorry I'm asking so much.

Thanks! I have Paint Pro Shop and now have gmax, but still lack the skills to find renx. If someone could give me a working link, that would be great. Also, I read Nertea's Leather guide, but where can I find the files such as rupeasant01.dds? I'm sorry for being such an asking noob.

RenX

Nertea did that tutorial based and BFME 1. So you would need to have that game in order to have access to thoses textures. Although, since I'm in a good mood, here's is his Skin Project from BFME 1. It'll be located in there.
