hey,
work for all the original factions is pretty much done now, i am going to start worling on harad first and will need some beta testers soon. if you come up with a decent harad hero the place is yours.

you need to give the hero a name, cost, powers, and type of hero

Al-Haran
A fat, greedy tradesman from Amrûn
(Amrûn does actually exist, look at Tolkien's maps)

1: Theft - Generates money when attacking enemy resource building
5: Secret tradeways - Nearby markets produce +200% money (Haradrim have markets, right?)
10: Hire Lifeguards - Summons a few elite Harad infantry units


Jacasha
An assasin renowned for his effective methods
1: Disguise - Disguise as any other enemy unit, prevents enemies from attack you (like the cah ability in bfme2 )
4: Backstab - High-damage melee attack against units or heroes
6: Escape - Becomes invisible but cannot attack
10: Poison - Poisons enemy hero, slowly reducing its health for five seconds (should kill early-game heroes but not Aragorn and other late-gamers)


EDIT: I don't have bfme1 installed anymore, though, so the beta tester spot should be given to someone else

*lvl 6) Poison Dart (Fires a poisonous dart which cripples the enemy in place)

lvl 10: Bring Him Down!: the arrow volley power

Heroes:

Xar-Madraq
Recruit the fabled leader of the Hasharii assassins
Hero Type: stealth, anti hero/swordsman with weak range toggle
Cost: 2500

Powers

1. Toggle Weapon
Xar-Madraq switches from his standard scimitar to throwing daggers.

1. Shadow of the South
Similar to Wormtongue's Escape ability from BFME II.

3. Toxic Scimitar
Xar-Madraq's scimitar becomes poisoned for a while(cannot be used while throwing daggers are equipped).

5. Robes of Deceit
Xar-Madraq can disguise as an enemy unit.

7. Venoms of the South
Xar-Madraq's throwing daggers become permanently poisoned(cannot be used while scimitar is equipped).

10. Darkblade
Xar-Madraq stabs an opponent at close range doing massive damage to them and pinning them in place.

The Black Serpent
Recruit the greatest of the tribal chieftains of Harad
Hero Type: cavalry/swordsman/leadership, buffer hero
Cost: 1700

Powers:

1. Mount/Dismount
The Black Serpent can mount/dismount his horse

3. Leadership
Units gain +100% damage and +25% to speed

6. Rage of the South
The Black Serpent gains a boost to his attack damage, armour and speed for a short time.

8. Horsemen of Harad
Summons several hordes of elite Haradrim cavalry for a short time.

Hrakhan-cav/foot (starts mounted) price= somewhere in the 2000-2800 range.

lvl 1- Sands of the South- makes him and all nearby units invisible
lvl 3- Fury blade- +50% damage, +25% attack speed, -50% armor
lvl 5- Mount/dismount
lvl 7- Black King- new skin, leadership +125% damage, +20% movement, +20% xp, -20% armor
lvl 10- dark sorcery- darkness power, but lasts only half as long


I couldn't really think of a better name, so that can be changed.

Mahad = Harad Captain
Level 1= Mount(mounts a nearby mumakii)
Level 1= Leadership 100%Damage, 50%Armor and 75%Exp)
Level 3= Supplies (Heals all nearby Harad Troops not mumakii)
Level 6= Extra Support (Give exp to all allies in range)
Level 10= Call of the Haradrim(Summons the haradrim army at minas tirith
Cost= 1800 Health=1000 melee= 45

SOS: Xar-Madraq sounds like a great idea

Lotrfan2: tertan is a good idea but remeber the faction is only harad not evil men.

guesswho and yoda: ncie but i already have a hero who will that role (suladan)

uruk king: sounds goood maybe he could an early game hero

cal: Al-Haran sounds awesome, great unique ideas there defiantly use him

ill choose 2 ppl for testers heres and have another comp for the elves later on

Nah, that's okay. Dindi if you'd like to use my hero but NOT have me in the beta I'm cool with that.

Don't take it the wrong way though. I do want to be in the beta and the mod looks great but I understand you may want to choose someone else.
