Some tips:

Use Tahoma or Verdana as the font, Times New Roman doesn't look right on the web.

RE. Background - they should always be small and simple. You don't want users having to wait for the huge image to load. Also, how will it look on different resolutions?

If you want a map, use it as the background for a banner across the top

The split news on the front page looks odd

i think we could use that top map but smaller and just across top of the page it would look nice.

there is gothmog, morgul swordsmen, morgul archers, warg riders

isengard:
Ugluk, Vrasku, lugdush, wulf, isen orcs, uruk scouts, ruffians, wild men of dunland (also lurtz has been removed)

Couldn't Mordor alsohave Shagrat, Mouth of Sauron and Khamul as heros. I can come up with some special abilites for you, I understand you don't want to have too much work to do, but I can wait, for your mod to be complete. Also bring back the Easterlings

uruk king: do you want to be beta tester, and also i might need some maps later on. as it seems guess who cant be promoetd to project status because of his warnings

And about mapping, I already have some skill, but if you're talking about Stronghold maps like Minas Tirith and Helms Deep the there I can't help. Unless you ask Mh Gollum really nicely about using some of his stronghold maps.

i have a decent 3 player desert map that isnt being used if u want. I just need to add a bit of cactii or something else to finish it off for eye candy. pm me or tell me here if interested

Happy Beta Weekend Everybody who is a tester!

yeh i know, im working my guts out at the mo to get the ebta ready, unlikey today probaly tomorroew it will be out, remeber i have only added stuff to the existing factions at the mo.

heres each faction should be used now (note no ai for any new units, i would recommond only fighting rohan or mordor ai)

gondor is now an infantry heavy faction, although at the start they will only be able to build gondor wardens, axemen, and knights, they are more of a middle game faction.

rohan now has footmen and outriders and the elves have been removed. they play pretty much the same, cavarly is good, and footman can be upgraded with spears.

Isengard now has 3 more heroes and 2 more units. they can spam enemies with their orcs and launch quick attacks with the scouts. but they have to get a level 2 uruk pit to get the more heavily armoured uruks.

Mordor loses the men of harad but gains orcs of mina morgul. they are heavily armoured and have an average attack. morgul warg riders provide a good cavarly although all morgul units wil be limited to having 4 at a time
