So... Anyone been flooded? We've had some rather substantial rain over the last couple of days. Actually, it wasn't too bad where I live, our house is fairly high up... There were some areas in the town centre though, some lakes forming here and there

Im alrite for where i live as there are loads of banks, so the town centre and all the little charves will be drowned before me
on the brighter side the mariner might have so water in it

but i dont think the bridge will help you there, a canoe, maybe

I apologise to the people of Great Britain, it appears this flooding was my fault.
I foolishly chose to wash my car for the first time ever, leading to 4 full days of rain.

On a more serious note, we've been fine. The river you can see from my house hasn't even swelled up that much, it was worse last year.
I'm about 2 hours further North than Sheffield which seems to have taken the main force of this though.

Its actually quite funny that everyone here seems to be on the higher ground, are we the only people who've had some luck form of luck during the rain?

Thankfully the rain hasn't been that bad for much of Cambridgshire, yeah the rivers have bulged, but most of the bad situations have been up north.

It's quite sunny now here, just a bit windy... The weather here is insane some times... There's more rain en route though allegedly, not sure quite how much. We're high up here though, in fact, the whole town is, hence the lower parts got a bit watery...

I'm on a hill, too . Most of South Yorkshire was cut off from eachother, and where I live was physically isolated from everywhere else in the area by water.

Some fuckin' summer. Apparently it's all supposed to happen again over the weekend...

The Welsh (who I'm hiding among), haven't invented flat land yet, they are slowly getting there with fields on mild slopes but no flat land yet!

This bad weather started just after I bought a fan? :( Its cursed it is, it keeps you cool by hiding the sun!
