Wind could easily blow down a Goblin fortress...

theyre supposed to represent their respective elements. air is going to do the best knockback, but the least damage overall, fire will do the most damage but be the most directed, and water lies somewhere in the middle.
and i find that one or two noledhel expansions on a fortress can do wonders when defending, as long as you dont mind taking some damage yourself (from splash). they can really disrupt an assault because of their large knockback radius and relatively high damage potential.

Also, I suggest combining all three versus fortresses. I'm thinking most of the damage comes from fire and water, but I still combine all three.

Yeah... the only problem is that they don't only destroy your troops... they also destroy YOUR buildings. I was playing a skirmish as Rivendell and I took out two of my own towers that way. *I admit it was pretty cool watching fireballs shoot out of the tower windows, though...* :)

The only downside in combining all three is their ability to target an enemy, they seem to have a harder time combined compared to targeting alone imo.

That's why I use them mainly for siege and not much else.

i know you probably wont read this never the less actually add it but i thought it was worth a good try

I think it would be a great idea to add the lindon warriors to the rivendale or lorien faction, they look like the noldor and can switch between bows and swords however they are weaker and do not have upgrade arrows or swords, but they do have upgrade armor (to keep the appearance)

they could come in hordes of 10 (2 rows of 5)

and they could be made through the arnor faction after lighting the rivendale signal fire
this way you could easily make the battle of the last alliance therefore greatly expanding the gaming experiance :p

thankyou very much for taking your time to read this I hope and dream this will be included in your next verzion of the mod ;)

please email me with a response as to if this could be added or not .... mxalex229@gmail.com thankyou!

I think something to that effect has been/ is being done at the moment. Just not with elves, or at least with Elves alone.

There are two Last Alliance missions being made and they will have LA custom units and buildings. That is the only time you'll see them most likely. Unless you make your own maps with RJ.

Hey, I'm not sure if this is the place to post this, but...

It seems that Call to Rivendell/Lorien/Mirkwood isn't working for me at all. I've tried it with both a Lothloriend fortress and a Rivendell fortress. I've made sure to incllude everything (researching the beacon, using the Call ability afterwards, building barracks, putting in dormitories, level them up to 3). I've even tried different combinations of the previous, and they haven't worked either. Am I doing something wrong? I'd sure love to see the Mirkwood units... :(

The Valar had to nerf Dwarves, or we would of taken over the world before it even began... :D

All you have to do is be patient. The reinforcements will come, don't worry.

it takes a long time to recruit the aid of another elven faction, so like vithar said, just be patient. it definitely works though.

Couple Things
1. Definitely leave Elladan and Elrohir in the Elves!
2. Would it be possible to split the elven heroes up so that they are unique within the subfactions? For Example:

Rivendell: Elrond, Arwen, Elrohir, Elladan, Erestor, Glorfindel
Mirkwood: Legolas, Thranduil, Oropher, Gildor, Amdir
Lorien: Celeborn, Haldir, Orophin, Rumil, Amroth, Nimrodel(Maybe) (Galadriel is ring hero, of course)
