Yes it is about Arnor.

In response to Yoda, well I have looked at both units stats and a Gondor soldier is quite weaker than a Uruk-hai. The Uruk-hai has an attack of I thin 250 and the Gondor soldier has an attack of 150. The other stats are the same spread. I simply leveled them out. You said that Isenguard is about massive armies with huge amounts of siege? Did you read what I posted? That is exactly what the mild adjustment does. The armies become larger with the same hitting force of the smaller one before. A Gondor Soldier battalion will lose to an Uruk-hai horde because the Uruk-hai horde is larger. Plus there tends to be more. It actually makes it less spammy b/c the units aren't cheap or quick building enough to just throw away, and they are no longer as strong so you can't leave them alone. It takes more attention.

Well, I knew this topic was about Arnor, so WHY are we discussing Isengard? Shouldn't we take that HERE? Anyway, are the Dunedain Royal Knights going to be nerfed, and is their avatar eventually going to match their skin (or vice versa) a little bit more? Not that I tire of looking at my avatar's face in game, but when you've got my avatar coupled with KoDA, it doesn't make much sense. :p

Yes. The SUPER AMAZING REDONKOULUSLY POWERFUL UBER bowmen. So powerful you only need one and you only get one! They need to do insane damage, have mind blowing range, and a fire rate to make an SMG seem slow.

There was a little bit of Hyberbole there.

But seriously they need to be insanely powerful

I thought the plan was Steel Longbowmen and Heavy Infantrymen? I still think we should have more then one battalion of Steel Bowmen too, at least make it two battalions.

One. How many people do you know who can even use a steel bow? Heavy Infantry should be present, though...

we've already gone over this havnt we? numenorians are not normal men, but in fact are much stronger (and more able overall). they would have been able to use steelbows, and arnorians are about as close to pure-blood numenorians as it gets in the third age.

Only the Kings line could probably still use them. The number would be very low. Not more than 100 men at a time.

So in BFME terms that's one battalion.

And the Arnor Soldiers ARE HEAVY INFANTRY

K, as long as they're not as heavy as the Dwarves or Isen :p

Are the Mithlond Elves not arnor heavy infantry? If they arent they should be, i think Mithlond should be even heavier than the Rivendell units.

back to the siege unit, I think Arnor could have buildable catapults. I mean, builders build them wehre you want to build them but catas (or trebs, mangoels, whatever :p ) couldn't move. Then, when enemy has gone too far for range, they could be deleted with some resources back. That would be realistic for very big siege weapon.

I personally am not to fond of the idea, bro. So I wouldn't be building them. Didn't someone mention this in the Dwarven section? And it didn't fly. If people didn't like it there, it probably won't get too far here either.
