Both, I enjoy the art of wit and sarcasm.
Jag, insults only hurt if you let them. If you don't give a damn about what others think of you, then it is really easy to enjoy an insult. I know who I am and what I am. My self-actualization is not base on others opinions of me. I don't need other people around me and liking me to feel good about myself. How I feel about myself is based upon my actions and my motives, not whether others like me. If I know I am doing what is right for the right reasons, that is all I need to be happy and have joy. When you no longer need people around you to define who you are, then they loose power over you. Say anything you want to me, I will not care. Nothing against you, but I couldn't give a damn what you thought of me.

That makes me think of a cool quote about not worrying about what others think, "Why care about what other people think of you, when they obviously aren't thinking.". It doesn't really matter what people think of you, because you yourself knew the truth, and they can think what they want :p

Now, back to Mordor...
The Orc Pikemen definitely need a reskin, they all look the same and have the same style pikes, which is kind of strange for an Orc.

I have an interesting suggestion for mordor (I may have suggested this before):

For siege towers, maybe the team could implement the ability for them to carry units? I'm thinking that they would carry like 1 battalion though. I think that this would create another challenge (especially if you're trying to siege a castle map) for both players that have to deal with the siege towers because if the siege towers get to your walls units will be there right away.

What do you guys think?

Nazgul did this, and I for one thing it's a great idea. It actually gives Siege Towers a purpose.
Maybe they could be upgradeable with extra armour...?

Now that the Haradrim Lancers have been removed, Mordor need some cavalry. Trolls aren't fast enough, and they can't crush archers in seconds. But what?

...

I don't know.

Nothing, that is Mordor's weakness. Every faction has a weakness. Otherwise the game isn't fun if all sides are equal.

Siegetowers - that'd be a great idea if it could do that. We'll have to wait till Rob gets back to find out if it's a code thing or a modelling thing

One thing i would like to see done with the Witch-king is in the special extended version of ROTK, right be for he breakes Gandalfs staff he says "This is my Hour!", and he takes out he sword and flames come down the blade. What i think you should do is change the move the witch-kings move "The Witch-Kings hour" and make his soward flame, in BFME2 Special Extended Edition MOD they did this.
"A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to!" Gandalf the Grey

But there is no way that the WK was more powerful than Gandalf. I hated that part b/c it was so against lore

I second that about hating that ONE scene. But for different reasons...

Against the lore? He just didn't have enough time in the films. The way I see it, PJ wouldn't be able to keep an audience entertained with 5 hours of footage which is why a lot of the stuff was cut. What PJ needed in the EE films was something short and sweet to show that there were battles between the two. If PJ could get away with a 5hr movie, I'm sure that we would have seen a long battle with Gandy and the WK. /Rant off.

Now that I have let that out of my system, I hope that I didn't just re-open discussion on this.

The minutes of content included are irrelevant - he went directly against what is said in the books. Gandalf the White could, would, and did defeat the Witch-king in a contest of wills and power.

Thought they were equal from what I remember... It doesn't matter anyways, nothing's gonna be done in the end.

Now we're off topic :thumbsupsmiley: .

Nope. Gandalf was unsure of himself, but in the end he was stronger - by his will alone did he keep the Witch-king from entering the Gates of Minas Tirith. While the Lord of Morgul may have had power immeasurable over Men, he had none at all over the strength of a Maia.

EDIT: And I stopped caring about off-topicness roughly one-thousand eight-hundred posts ago :thumbsupsmiley:

Mike...he would have entered anyway, but the rohirrim came, so he had to go kick theoden's @$$. I'm not saying he's stronger...but he's not clearly weaker either.

That was only my second most hated scene in lotr...my first was faramir being a bad guy...:thumbsupsmiley:
