There's probably an easy way to change his voice by taking the sound files and fooling around with them. If I could locate the voices and access them I could give it a shot. And if someone could help me locate these files I would appreciate it :crazed:

It would be cool if you just tweaked it a bit to lower it by, say, two octaves. Same phrases, but lower voice.

------------EDIT---------------

I found where the voices are (I think), they're under:
C: - Program Files -> Electronic Arts -> The Lord of the Rings, The Rise of the Witch-king -> lang -> EnglishAudio.big (you need FinalBIG Editor to open it from there, you then have a list of what I think are audio files).

I think that the Angmar Morgomir should receive a major re-skin, the fact that he's a Nazgul and goes around without barely any covering doesn't make sense in my mind at all, So I propose that he be re-skinned to look something more like this:

That way, he still looks like a Nazgul but a little bit more armored because of his status as Lieutenant of Carn Dum.

And, yes, I know that that is what the Witch-King looks like in LotRO (I never played LotRO, because I think that all MMORPG's are scams and a waist of time and money.)

And BTW, I also think that when the Angmar Witch-King gets his re-skin, his body proportions should be balanced. His legs are too small and spindly for his upper body. And what's with the giant big-toes?

that looks awesome..it's better than seeing a blue faced nazgul..

Good news! I've isolated the voices for the game and such. Bad news. There's at least a thousand voices recorded.

Good news! I've found all the Morgomir lines. Bad news. It will take me a while to figure out what effects will work best to make the changes sound more like a nazgul should. Eventually I'll have some samples and will post them.

More good news! There are many voices that are sooo cool but never used.

Of course, there's many unused voice tracks there. Some mods take advantage of that in different ways. :thumbsupsmiley: I know there's some evil faction voiceovers that never are used for like when units are done training.

Or they're just verging on inappropriate, like a dwarf saying something about kicking someone's nuts :thumbsupsmiley:

I wouldn't know about that. :tongevil: But there is one line that proclaimed "Defend Erebor or die!" So yea, you be the judge. :thumbsupsmiley: Anywho, things Angmar. What would the Witch-King wield for weaponry at this time?

With what program do you open the voice files? Not to edit, just to hear.

As long as you use FINALBig editor you hear them.
Just select the one you want to hear and extract it and a wav file should appear in the lang folder.

Right now I'm in the process of organizing the THOUSANDS of files so I can find the voices quicker. So I should be getting to editing the voices soon after

This is when the team gets to overhauling Angmar, but depending where the Dark Rangers go(providing that they're staying and if they're still upgradeable), I think similar to what was done with the Wildmen Axethrowers, the Dark Ranger's banner carrier should be replaced with a Dark Ranger one, and not have the voiceover replaced with the Black Numenorian one. ;)

As do I. I will do everything in my power to see that they are taken behind the woodshed, killed with a rusty axe, and then buried deep in the forest where nobody will ever be able to find them.

I agree considering that the faction was a crapshoot creation by EA. :D Whatever that gets replaced and\or added will be a welcome sight imo.

The Dark Rangers should be scrapped, but their voiceovers should be given to whatever comes into the faction to replace them.

I agree, especially the voiceovers considering their "underusement" :D
