Hey guys, I just purchased Empire at War and the Expansion a couple week sago and I am completly addicted. I have a few questions about your mods and just mods in general. First I love the new units your mod has to offer but I noticed upon reading the units available to each faction and a lot of the ones in the original game arent included, does this mean htey arent available once the mod is installed or just arent new material so you dont list them ? This may be a stupid question but you will have to forgive me Im not real familiar with the whole modding process, and also can you run more than 1 mod at a time or do you have to delete the current one to try a new one ?

The mod focuses on changes to space, so that is one reason you don't see land units for instance- he just hasn't changed that....yet. It also is sticking to canon, so the Consortium is pretty much history, although since much of what was in the consortium was pulled from other sources, you may see it anyway if Phoenix decides to make a different kind of 3rd faction. So as far as space units are concerned, if it isn't listed in the units, it won't be in the game. I don't think he has made page for heroes, but they will also be in.

As for changes, realize that you can install the mod and never ever play it and play the original game just as it is now. I have a few mods, and occasionally I play the vanilla just so I have a common reference(I don't play it for fun anymore- I like my mod and others much better). You don't have to delete a mod to get another to work. But if you like aspects of two different mods, then you either do the work yourself(yes YOU mod the mod) or you hope and pray someone else does it for you. I prefer the former since the later doesn't happen often.

I don't have the link handy, but there is a mod launcher which I use for the various mods I have. You should be able to find it on filefront.com
under tools(under Forces of Corruption of course)

Thanks, Loth. Yeah, there will be a cleaner installer for the next release.
