I've listened through them ALL today... and I'd say about 20% is useful! Some of it is REALLY low fi, and some are even mono. But some are also really good. I can defenitely use several things =)

So, what voices did you collect?

Can't remember now in every detail, but I will use many of them. DOn't really know though why some were so good while others sucked that bad. It's like it's not the same person having recorded them...

For Beta V I was wondering... If anyone out there has good recording abilities (equipment/software) and above all the will to do it, I'd like to ad a new mamber to the Team - in "charge" of recording as much cool lines as possible...

It must be
- High Quality
&
- Stereo

Let me know if anyone's interested and willing to embark on this short but heavy journey

Depends on what you want, but I might be able to work up a couple things with a friend of mine. I am already doing it for another mod.

Well I "want" (need) as many good samples as possible...
That means basically go through all three movies... (ext ed)

Most important at the moment would be Bilbo voices...

Never mind then *maybe* I thought you meant something else. If you know how to get the sounds from the movies (other than holding a mic to the speakers), tell me, and I could probably figure it out.

About the recording of the voices...I'm actually running a recording studio, so I have a lot of material to actually do this really good if you'd like.
So just say if you want me to do it...and I'd gladly do it. (not recording them with my own voice ofcourse because I sound like a frickin' a-hole. But taking the voices from the movies, mixing, mastering and fiddle with effects to get out all backgrond sounds and stuff like that.)

This might be the fastest team recruiting ever... but if you like the position as "SEE Team - Audio Master" (or some cool name, hehe), it's yours with fancy banner and access to Private Betas and the works...

Yeah well what can I say about the voices... The movies are loaded with nice lines, but intially and to spare you from sitting 24/7 with this for 40 days... hehe... we better concentrate on whats prio

- Bilbo. This caracter has no audio what so ever, and I bet you can find a lot of great lines for him to begin with =)

Haha, that goes for me to...should get some sleep. besides I've got a freaking wedding to attend tomorrow...kinda sucks. I'll start gathering up some nice Bilbo lines tomorrow night though.
