Enjoying the news coverage of the site? We are posting everything, from mods to UAW information. And I'm getting more motivated daily. Not because the news here is getting more popular than our friends at CNC3.net, but because of UAW itself. Months ago, I was very skeptical about Universe At War, because, like many other people, the original Empire At War was a disappointment and Forces Of Corruption was better, but it came too late. Universe At War will be quite different from the previous Petroglyph games, because SEGA has given them full freedom to make this new intelectual property. The game brings totally new concepts of strategy and gameplay, although in the end, it won't be much different than Command & Conquer, since it will be brute force (Hierarchy, GDI, USA) vs stealth, sneaky, hit and run (Novus, Nod, GLA) vs something else which we are not aware of... (would it remind Scrin?).

So far, what I've seen on articles and videos is very interesting, but one thing is the hype from the internet data and another completely different thing is the gameplay experience. And if the first impression sucks, you'll hardly get motivated to play it again, like what happened with many of those who played the original Empire At War campaign. And how would it work?
