Just wondering what level of graphics detail and resolution most of you use with SEE. I have mine set on Ultra High at 1280 x 960. The only time it's been a bit laggy is when I had all the nine on their fellbeasts on screen at once.

Most things on high, except for the shadows because they cause lag and don't even look good :p

I (right now) use low graphics... :p because I'm on vacation and only have acsess to a laptop with a Raedon 1100 xpress video card... (IT SUCKS) but my desktop back home can probably do at least high, if not ultra. I am looking into a nice new computer though and that should for sure be able to let me use ultra high settings... plus i'm getting a good processor and RAM memory so it should also speed things up :D

I'm thinking of going GeFore 8800 next time... or maybe I should wait for future versions in 9- or 10-generation. Anyone know if the difference to GeFore 7900GTX would be noticable? :p

8800+ runs DX10, which you need for a lot of upcoming games, like starcraft 2. at least, you need that for it to LOOK good. I'll probably get a DX8800....right after hologames come out. -_-

Dammit. I just got my old machine working again, after it sat around doing nothing for almost a year. And what do i discover? It was THIS machine that made me not see the beautiful transparent seas of middle-earth! Dammit!

I've got a RADEON 9200 PRO. Does anyone else have this problem? Pfft. I hates it. At least i got all my old EM2 modding data back. Quite a few decent notes for stuff...

So what is the card in your other machine?

9200PRO.... hmm, I think those are DirectX 8.1 as best, and you need 9.0 for that water and such. And memory is usually only 128 Mb in those cards... :/

Btw: I was kinda surprised when I read about the upcoming GeForce 9-generation. Aparently they're still not going for the 1Gb of memory. Why don't they just crank as much memory as possible into those cards. Memery gives greater performance leaps than CPU's =p
