Hello members of the Revora Forums, and fans of the Battlefield / CNC3 community!

This is Derek here, bringing you another update regarding our upcoming mod, CNC2142! :p
As we have promised last week, the mod team is now releasing the first batch of in-game meshes' renderings, featuring the UAZ-8 Ocelot FAV, T-39 Bogatyr Walker, Type-2 Titan warship, and even a sneak-preview of the Pan Asian Coalition (PAC) barracks! :p

As the mod team and I are still working accordingly to our schedules, there should be no problem for the next batch of renderings be made available in the following weeks. Please leave any comments here at the forums for us to improve our mod! Thanks! ;)

I have modelled the stuff, might be the viewing angle? :p
This modification strives to stay as original to BF2142 as possible, so some BF2142 in-game elements might be reused - while we also really wanna be as creative as possible, we felt staying truthful to the original BF2142 is also very important. Imo the mod team's creativity might be reflected better in the game modes and designs, rather than in our meshes. :p

There will be even more modellings when it comes to the structures.

You have not modeled the Stuff, the Artist at DICE did it. you have just exported and rescaled them.

As for the EU Titan:

Please clarify this statement. Are you saying Derek's team did not model this? Because if this is true, I need more info on who actually did (I assume Dice did). Who is Dice?

If this is a model from the game that he used, well that would make sense. Seeing the games invloved and the resources used. Please clarify your post sir.

It appears he said he modeled it. So I'll assume this is true until you prove otherwise. Please give a full explanation of what/who/when this model "spawned"

DICE is a company, and that company started the BF Series.

That model of the EU titan is made by me.

The models Derek posted in the first are extracted from BF2142 (so dice made them), he extracted, resized and maybe modified them.

So no, the models in the first post are not made by us....I am trying to get into his head that we shall make our own models...but he says we shouldn't :lol:

I say you should, because we cannot tolerate a mod using another person's/company's models without having the correct permission. I thought all was well as you got EA's permission, but if EA is not the copyright holder you need to get permission from DICE. If you DICE doesn't allow you to use them, you will have no other choice than making your own assets.
