Iwould like a game where you could explore all of middle eart in it's actual size. Just walking around with a hero of your choice and explore everything real size. So if you want to go from shire to mordor it would actually take some real months of walking. And you can enter houses talk to people ride horses and do everything you like. The graphics has to look real and you can talk to people real time through a microphone. And it should be online, basically the entire world of tolkien in a game. Of course online mode should be available, so you can meet other people. But it's not like a mmorpg where you have lvls and shit. Just a realistic new world to enter when you are bored in the real one. That would be awesome. I expect something like this in 2132.
But to be realistic what could be done today, I would maybe like a better lord of the rings online. With graphics like return of the king the game. And no levels and shit.

I really don't think a game in which it takes months to get to another location is fun.

actually, Garrison Nomad, they are making an LOTR version of Star Wars: Battlefront. if you havent heard, the makers of Battlefront are making Lord of the Rings: Conquest.
Battlefront was an awesome game, and Conquest looks it as well (im a fan of SW and LOTR)

i say the same thing! the BFME series is my dream LOTR game too. Basically, in my mind, i would want a RTS and a Battlefront type LOTR game. The RTS should encompass all of the Middle Earth universe, which BFME II does. my main problems with BFME II is that it sometimes doesn't have that epic movie feel, but thats why the SEE mod exists! so, both of my wishes are fulfilled.

No, BFMEII doesn't encompass the entire Middle-earth universe. The things it does ''encompass'' are horrible.

Sounds like LoTR Conquest!This was originally a big project someone back at MeV was attempting, but it fizzled out. Anyways, the idea was LoTR:battlefront. It would be a Star Wars: Battlefront style game with LotR. Hack-n-slash, mass armies, and being right in the middle of it. Being an individual soldier fending off an attack at a castle, or being one of the thousands of orcs raiding minas tirith (albeit with a lot of respawns ).

But my dream LoTR game would be a LoTR: BFMEII style game but with better graphics, no population limit so you can get an army the size of mordor's at Minas Tirath and you can switch between RTS, WOTR RTS and RPG to manually control your units

I also agree, so it should have a system where you can teliport to a location. It will be faster than actually going the whole way but you wont get to see all the sights...I really don't think a game in which it takes months to get to another location is fun.
