Yeah, some royal dick shouted the ending to the book in a crowded area and I know its actually the ending...that erased half my interest in the book now.

I won't spoil it for anyone else though, but have a great time reading it and not knowing the ending. We really need to invent a memory eraser so I can forget what happens and be able to enjoy the book.

Now you can enjoy reading the book. The suspense will be building up towards the end as you are about to find out the real ending, unless you all ready have ;)

There really isn't much suspense... it's rather... an anticlimax. Read it in about 4 hours, but I wasn't disappointed because I didn't expect anything good ;).

I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

4h :shiftee:
759 pages for the American edition ... more than 3 pages per minute ? no way.

Yeah, I didn't notice much suspense from the Wikipedia article I forced myself to read.

Obviously, since it's a summary ;)
It's a bit as if you were watching a summary of 24. Where would all the fun of biting your nails at the end of every single episode be ?
That, and you need to be somewhat attached to the characters to regret their death. When you've read 7 books for the past 8 years, you get to know the characters quite well and come to like them.
