Due to my IRL name (Ash) I have a portion of my soul dedicated to its loathing. It's not the game itself, it's the connotation. Oh and the trading card game. Yeah i do feel sorry for you Ash Although thankfully when people pickup on the fact that your name (and about 3 million other Ashes in the world) being the same as one of the shitty characters the piss taking doesn't last too long... about a week lol.
I can't say im an obsessed fan cause im not, i went through that Pokemon Card phase and then just settled on playing the games via emulators. The games are the only good thing about the whole concept i think... infact i should really do some more on those re-makes :(
