As a minor part of our alliance/cooperation, I said I think you should have some banners... and here's my first suggestion. I based it on your nice Spotlight logo...






In case you like it I can make whatever titles you need/wish for them off course =) If you don't like the "dirt" behind the "grass", I can remove that. I just thought it might need a little "frame" like that...

And as a suggestion for theme - go strong with the Green profile, just as I have with the red. Your site is already green, your Spotlight is green, and this banner is green. I say - use the ShellMap from BFME2 since that's all green-ish and you don't even have to worry about legal debates like I ventured into with my BFME1 ShellMap. The RotWK exp won't run without BFME2 installed, right? So using the BFME2 sheallmap can NOT be illegal since you have to own them both in order to play any RotWK mod? And from an artistic view, I think it fits the RJ mod perfectly


And here's the second batch of suggestions for Camera buttons. I can do more in case you have some directions/wishes. This time I tried to use what you said the last time, about horizon and ground vs sky but I'm still not sure if this is what you want.

woah, love the banner. the buttons are really nice too. i don't think the shell map from bfme2 would fit though, since the whole point of rj is to return to bfme1

Thank you! I was actually think also that I might do a seperate one for each faction. It might take some time to do each one as the main thing I want to do is have a sharper image when I scale it down and maybe do then on different fortress maps.

lol, when i first saw the picture i was like wth is that, then i read the words. personally i think a sky screenshot from actual game would work better, but thats just me. i like how you (cant think of word to describe >.<) made all the little hexagons kind of like fly's eye or something like that.

When designing a logo, you're mostly looking for simplicity - things that are easy to remember and that look good without using a myriad of details. Even this one is too much if it was something that would be used comercially, but this is for fun though. There's a reason Coca Cola is the most known trademark in the world and that is not only cause it tastes good. The logo is agressivly beautiful in only white and red. Red catches the eye and the white males it easy to read and print.

This logo is not meant to compete with a professional logo though, but rather just look BFME-ish with a strong tone of RJ-RotWK. Having a screen shot from the game in there would not look very good when scaled to lesser proportions fitting in the corner of screen shots from our mods.
