Fair 'nuff, I really did not expect to see anything of that sort anyways. How hard is it to add minifaction plots to the maps? Hopefully not too hard. And would it be possible in anyway for the maps that come with RA to have a star or something beside them in the setup part so that you would know which ones have been made specially for RA? And once again I would like to tell you all that I am very interested in what you are doing and I have been watching it for a few years now. All I hope for is that it is someday finished.... I am not to worried about the time aspect. I really think that it will be worth the wait. Thanks again!

I think that RA maps will be in the standard map selection rollout and any customs you have installed will show up in the custom maps area.

I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

You can open Worldbuilder with RA assets, Minifaction plots can be added easily (Civilian>Structures>MinifactionPlot).

All new maps appear as Official Maps.

And hey Bard, I'm glad you remember me. It's slightly heartening to think that I did actually know something about the LOTR universe at one point... It's all drained away I'm afraid. Especially when I think I proof read (albeit didn't write  ) things like this

Are the old forums archived anywhere? I wouldn't mind taking a look to refresh my memory.

...The Journey doesn't end here; death is just another path, one that we all must take. The grey rain curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass. And then you see it. White shores...and beyond. A far green country, under a swift sunrise...

...Many folk like to know beforehand what is to be set on the table; but those who have laboured to prepare the feast like to keep their secret; for wonder makes the words of praise louder...

...Stand, Men of the West! Stand and wait! This is the hour of doom... ~ Gandalf the White, The Return of the King

The other thing that I had on my mind was what are the Heavy Armor upgrades going to look like?
Hopefully they won't turn Uruk-Hai gold because that really does not look all that great. Perhaps are more silver tone qould be of use? (Mithril...) At any rate, what of the team colours?

Team colours are gone. Check the site (specifically the Gondor troops renders) for an idea of what heavy armour will look like.

In the past (like half a year ago) team members leaked information about the progress going on, like how much is done in a specific faction.
It would be nice to hear how things developed since then. It's quite difficult to estimate that only with the sneaks :xcahik_:

Well the ream are leaking the secrets of the mod to satisfy our unending thirst to taste the ture glory of RA.

Basically I think the team's doing enough as it is.

I know you have heard this at least ten thousand times but I'm gonna say it anyway, When are you guys gonna be done? I mean come on! It's been what? Four years? This Mod isn't going to take as long as it took for Tolkien to write the book is it? I would very much like to play this before I die of old age. I am not a Game Designer (quite obvious isn't it) but four years!?! It didn't take EA that long to make the game and they had to make it from scratch, you at least have something with which to work. Dain you are quite obviously a better team leader than your predecessor, as most of the work done so far has been accomplished during your 'reign' and I thank you for that, I only hope that you all can finish this mod before we all die (whether of boredom or old age). I am therefore closing my account and saying good-bye.

Sincerely,
Durin the Deathless

:p what do people not understand about this being done in SPARE time... not a full time job... plus they have limited staff... I'm content to wait as long as it takes... I want a Mod thats true to Tolkien and fun to play... not another B-S thrown together random arcade mod... Tolkien didn't rush his work and its a masterpiece... I believe the same will be true of RA whether it takes another year or another 3 years

I am sure that threats to leave will make us finish the mod faster.

Me and several other team members have addressed all those points at some point in the past, usually multiple times. I don't feel like rehashing them, and Foe of the Nine made the most important point already.

Hi, I'm new here and I just discovered this mod so I don't want to make any enemies on the forum but, I have to agree with Foe-of-the-Nine, I've looked at this mod and it is WAY better than the rest of the garbage people have been putting out, four years is a long time but it is well worth it I'm sure since the mod isn't half-way done (I'm basing this assumption off the fact that only 3 factions are fully updated mind you) and it already ROCKS! Also personally I wouldn't like to see a BETA (other than testing purposes for bugs etc.) other modders do\did that and all it does is ruin the surprise. Terribly sorry if I've offended anyone.
