But it could work. I remember it was the issue of scale that broke it's back.

On something like a matter like this, I agree. But at the same time I have no right to pressurize the RA team after all, the do put in a lot of time an effort into the creation of the mod. We ought to consider the Team's opinion on the matter.

Not much we can do except contribute as best we can, or keep our patience up, and continue to appreciate the quality of RA's work to the very highest.

No,it was a bit sarcastic :evgr:

I'm just wondering,on castles mp,is all good factions going to have castles?

GOOD:
Gondor - Existing BFME1 Castle
Rohan - Existing BFME1 Castle
Mirkwood - ?
Erebor - ?
Dale - ?

EVIL:
Mordor - Existing BFME1 Camp
Isengard - Existing BFME1 Camp
Harad - ?

Happy new year!

Mirkwood doesn't have a a castle (if by "castle" you mean walls). You can see their base in some of the screenshots. Erebor and Dale will have walled castles, Dale's hasn't been designed yet though. Walled fortresses are very difficult and time consuming to make (the Erebor Camp has given me enough headaches), so they're a long time coming. If we actually work at a decent pace you might see the Erebor Castle ingame in a little while. Barring that, I'll make sure there's a sneak peak of it in the coming weeks.

I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

If that was possible, it would be the greatest of the Erebor sneak peeks

Might there be a pause/resume system implemented into the mod to help with strategy preparations, or not?

As for the fortress, will Mordor getting the Barad-Dür tower shown in some screenshots?
And will Isengard get a Orthanc tower as fortress? :p

If by "fortress" you mean "citadel", then the screenshots do show that the old Mordor citadel has been changed to a "stone tower in mockery of Numenor", resembling the kid you see in Mordor. Isengard though, I'm not too sure

Saruman would never have had the skill to duplicate Orthanc's advanced construction. There's no need for it to be their citadel.

pause\resume feature?

Now, the only way we could implant that, is to have a power that summons a huge fx that really really REALLY lags up the game, despite how good your computer is..

seriously though, that's the only way we could do it.. We're modders, we don't make the game, we edit it ;)
