Well, could you explain me something?

I read somewhere that the dwarf's structure (camp) that we can see on several screenshots is only... the camp, not the "Castle"!

So my question is, if I remember well how bfme1's skirmish works, you choose your faction then you begin the game with what I called a castle, but in this case, with dwarves, my idea of castle seems to be your camp! So where does the camp take place? And so where does you castle take place?

A camp is smaller than a castle, it has less plots. The Erebor camp and castles both have walls. You have only seen the camp version so far, but you will see the castle very soon.

Some maps have castle plots, some camp plots, and some even outpost plots...

How long is it since you played last TDP? ;)

Campaign is low priority - many maps need units that are not yet coded in.

To me, a campaign is something that is done last, when all the stuff has been put in. otherwise, I can imagine it to be really painful to do one. :)

Omdat ze die screenshots maken in een incomplete versie, niet in het uiteindelijke resultaat. De huidige versie is nog niet klaar voor publiekelijke uitgave. Best wel logisch, nietwaar? Dat doen echte gamedevelopers toch ook?

No fuel left for the pilgrims

Even if I only know one word in dutch (goedendag :p) I think I easily understand what matias is saying... It's just wonderfull :shiftee:

Anyway, after my little question I played back to bfme1, and now I remember well those castles and camps! The dwarf faction is just going to be my favourite one... nothing else to say!

Het kan niet in uw beste belang dubbele functie. Vooral in drie minuten spaties.

this is really funny dutch  the translation would be something like this:

It can't be in your best intrest to dubble function. Especially in three minute spaces.

:) do you use babelfish mike? :excl:

*totally off topic stuff here

anyway, I've got a question about the strength of walls. Will dwarf walls be significantly stronger than any other wall, and will the difference actually be of use for the dwarven player? And will the dwarven camp walls actually be able to take a few hits, or will they be easily destroyed by a battering ram?
