but ne wayz back on the issue, i was personally fine witht the resource system for bfme 2, and it is also okay as it is now, but definitely i woudl oppose being only able to build in a smaller area, w/o any radius system... i say just keep it as it is now (altho i did vote choice 2 at first ) <-im actually surprised though thtat ther was only one toher person than me that voted choice 2

Thus you can only see how much production the RB's have after they've been fully constructed, and same with the radius, which can be a bitch as to your "strategic" RB placing (altho as i mentioned before there already isn't all that much space to build you RB's in)

Also, yes you can see the radius before it is completely build, buy you have to have at least one fams. Once you tell the builder where to build the next RB, just click on one of the already build farms and you can see. I sometimes will then adjust and place differently, but the radius' are usually small enought that after playing once or twice I don't really worry about where as I've already got a general idea of the size of the radius.
In the next release I'm doing some MP maps that are purely the build-plot system, which might interest some a little more. In these, I'm attempting to re-create completely the BFME1 style.

Well, for the Angmar mills, they should be buildable outside the walls. (They have the 700 build radius of the other RBs.) The reason why the percentage does not show up is because of the building-restriction code that is on it, and it was one of the reasons why I've thought about build anywhere so you can see the radius and percent when placing.

Okay thnx rob, but for the Bfme1 revisited maps, do you have any plans to allow the defensive towers and walls to be built any where outside of the castle? (other than the inn, cuz that isn't the only place that you might wanna defend at times)say there is like a choke point (i know there really arent many in bfme 1 or 2 but im just saying of a scenario) that you can utilize against an enemy invasion, and i think you should be able to use those kind of situations to build walls and place towers besides 'em - for some nice defense. I mean I get that farms shouldn't be buildable out ther, but im in love with wall building and tower spamming
