I have the first original ps2 that first came out which you can open while its running already. So would I need a kit or just the boot disc?

Or do you mean while the disc is actually spinning like it was with the PS1?

my friends got theirs for 26 or something, just get a slider/disc set and you'll be fine lol

Question how does the Providence and Legend Gundam handel in OMNI vs Zaft 2 plus?

Providence is identical to itself in the 1st OMNI vs Zaft, Legend is almost the same as providence except it had a stronger melee and those fun beam spike dragoons.

ahh I love those things, pretend to run from the enemy(victim, my friends), then shoot them off thile they're not looking at me and charge a full shot, beam spikes hit them in the face and the full blast hits them after recovery, followed by a quick and painful melee combo. works every time.

except if they dodge the spikes, then they shoot me while charging and I die shortly afterwards, lol

Stike Noir is one of my favorites, its so cheap its banned from turnament play.

Shields? The Strike Noir doesn't need any shields, not when it can barrel roll .

yep, that and I love its R2 attack, especially when combined with the ranged attacks. owns in the face lol.

Lol...yeah strike noir is gay, but in some tournament plays it not banned anymore. Cause some players have found tricks and stuff to deal with noir's jumping and rolling about, and once thats taken care of it suffers horribly. The pistols cant insta-stun for example. However, strike launcher is still banned...totally gay...

The real dragoon gundams ie prov. and legend are the real dastardly killers in this game. Pro's who perfect dragoon playstyle are nearly unbeatable. For example legend can stack dragoon trap to stun to rifle to melee finish. You trap an oppnent by launching dragoon one by one at intervals. Its virtually impossible to avoid when used properly. When trapped, lauch one spike, he will be stunned but not knocked down. You should be able to shoot him at least one more time plus a single hit melee finish.

Providence is abit different actually from the older version, its special melee was a slightly smaller attack window, to turn it from the best dragoon unit to second.

Other units that use dragoon, like s freedom and akatsuki, are practically useless in this regard. Deploying all dragoon units is a total waste of its potential, you'll almost never hit, unless fighting low ai, and it never does full damage since there's a hit cap at which the enemy unit will be knocked down.
