Well, on August 6, it will officially be one year since I first joined T3A and over a year since I started this project :p Looking back, I really have come a long way. It has been both frustrating and exhausting at times when working on this mod, but I am not one that gives up easily. I started off knowing absolutely nothing about modding ;) Yeah, I was a newb at one time too...hehe. So the first thing I did was download the Wurldbuilder tutorials tutorials on EA'S site and try to understand how the program works. Can anone guess what the first map I tried to edit was? ;) Yep, it was the Helm's Deep map :D It was the first and still currently only map that I have worked on, and it's constantly been going through revision after revision.

When I wanted to do more with the map other than using just Worldbuilder, I began to tackle the world of coding and making a map.ini file ;) After over six months of learning and the map.ini file reaching over 300 kb, I decided that I want even more to be done with the map. So that's when it changed into a full blown out mod. I spent the last 5 months learning how to create new art for the mod, ranging from 2-d skins to modeling :) And here I am now. It's pretty much been a one man team the whole time, but my mod would be no where near as good as it is without all those that have contributed and donated material to my mod. And I can't forget also those that helped me througout the learning process and guided me to a higher knowledge in the world of modding. My thanks goes out to all of you :) Couldn't of been here without T3A and all the individuals who run it.

Ahh.. my first post ;) Such a newb...

Now that I got all that boring and sentimental stuff out of the way, onto the update! :p

Gimli
Level 1: Axe Throw - Powerful ranged attack.
Level 4: Leap Attack - Gimli jumps to a location causing area-effect damage.
Level 7: Final Count - Gimli gains Double Damage and Double Speed in an attempt to beat Legolas.
Level 10: Nobody Panic - Gimli Recovers 50% health instead of dying

Level 5: Mount - toggle between horse and foot
Level 10: Forth Eorlingas - ??? :)

And here's a really old cinematic movie I made when I just began learning WorldBuilder. Note that none of the map changes are in it and it just gives a little taste of what to kind of except for my custom cinematic scenes. I have much more knowledge than I did when I made this so it's not very good compared to what I can do now ;)

That's it for this update :)

hehe, we're all newbs sometime bro :). buffering the video now, cant wait to watch. i love the new heroes, tho haleth's face looks like it was copied and pasted from four different guys...lol. is that the skybox you'll be using? i would have expected something more cloudy, but maybe thats the dawn...

EDIT:Wow, nice for when u were beginning. my favorite part was when it spun upside down and went to the uruks. i couldnt see the text tho, due to media player making it too small for some reason.

Haleth's face was really hard because the face that is shown in the movie isn't very good. I did my best to make it look like Haleth, and I hope it's good enough... As for the skybox, I just put it there to show off the new camera angles. It will be changed ;) Yeah, I know that the text can't be read... I just learned how to make videos much better so that shouldn't happen again :)

Very impressive. I really like how the new abilities reflect off the movie, especially Haleth's "Father's Revenge," which I was always disappointed that they didn't touch on in the movie. Kepp up the awesome work. :p

Fantastic! Amazing! Great movie.

The only suggestion I would like to make if I may would be to change the music when the Uruk-hai appear. The Isengard is Unleashed song would be ideal...y'know the dun, dun, dun...dun, dun, dun.

Oh boy...not helpful in the least...I'll post the score if I can find it.

The old world will burn in the fires of industry! The forests will fall! A new order will rise...we will drive the machine of war with the sword and the spear and the iron fist of the Orc! We have only to remove those who oppose us...

Don't worry, know exactly what you're talking about :umad: The music will be changed and fixed when I make the new cinematic scenes :D
