Seriously, if people are openly saying, "Hey, I think this is a spam-bot", how hard would it be to just reply to that. A simple, "Hello, I'm not a spam-bot" would probably be enough to clear any confusion up.

Gee, I don't know, maybe because people don't actually feel welcomed when they are insulted for spambot?

It's only an insult if the person takes it that way. :p

How is he not being honest? ;)

In my personal opinion, if people really think a post is a bot post, then why the hell do they bother replying to it? It's a common rule here that you do not reply to bot posts. Just as it is a common rule that you don't insult people or call them a spambot. So:

1) If you think you see a spam bot post, you either ignore it and wait for the admins or you report it
2) If you see a new member that's been confirmed not to be a bot, you do not call them a spam bot
3) If you are in doubt, just wait a few hours and see if the thread gets deleted or not

Anyone not following the rules will be in trouble.

I'm closing this topic now, because it's served all but its purpose, and it's in danger of becoming a flame fest.
