To whom it might interest, i guess this is the best area to post this. My question is, Can an IP ban affect the access to an entire network?, as an example, i'm currently unable to access the whole revora network. I can, however, access it using a anonymous web browser, telling me that my IP is probably banned; if so, the reasons to this are unclear to me, or something else could be a DNS error with my ISP, i'm still unsure. I hope for your reply, thanks

If your IP would be banned from these forums then you should still be able to see everything else (ie the cncguild site).

If your IP got banned after trying to access your FTP too many times with a wrong password, then you cannot access anything on the server.

Have you contacted MM and checked with him if your IP got banned? Send him a PM if you haven't talked with him about it yet.

If it is a DNS error, then you should be able to see something when you type in Fawkes IP in your webbrowser. Alternatively, you can edit the hosts file of Windows (should be in the Windows/something folder somewhere, depends which OS you have) with for example:

forums.revora.net <add spaces just like the line above> 75.126.231.34

and see if it helps. But best would be to check up with MM and see if he can find anything.

The server banned you for failured logins. If you try to login on FTP with wrong info, it thinks that you are trying to steal someone's account and after 10 attempts, it adds your IP to the ban list.

But don't worry, you were already unbanned.

Have checked your ftp details to be valid, so for the record, this was entirely your fault
