Some people actually prefer to buy commercial games - so DS, by far. Nintendo outdo themselves again and again with every console they produce (except perhaps the Virtual Boy). Sony range between fabulous and downright piss-poor. Besides, Nintendo know what they're doing, they're a dedicated games company, practically the only dedicated which produces its own consoles.

Do you know of any homebrew things that are useful ? would help me out :p

Well useful for me isn't necessarily useful for you - and vice versa.

Go here and scroll down alot, then there'll be a section on the left bar called "Homebrew Games for DS" and a bit further down on the right "Applications for DS".
Have a look through those and there's bound to be something you like.

There isn't one which is better than the other, that's not how it works.

(no it doesn't have better storage Ambershee, the PSP can take 8gb MemSticks)

Well, it's not like you couldn't buy a 16 or 32 Gb SD Card if you wanted to, it's just that 4Gb cards cost about 7 pounds, or 4 dollars these days

To the best of my knowledge no current DS solution can handle cards over 4Gb - above that is SDHC, not SD and as such incompatible.

That was my understanding aswell, most of them take micro SD now and you can't even buy those in more than 4GB.

Plus most of the flash carts say they only support up to 4GB, and if they're anything like phones saying they only support 2GB then any future card bigger than 4GB just won't load.

They're only small though, so you could easily carry a few.

They're hard to come by, but you can get MicroSD to SD adapters. Whether they'll physically fit comfortably into the DS itself is another question.

There are 6Gb and 8Gb MicroSD cards, and as far as I'm aware, they can be used with the R4DS 1.11 and the M3DSS 1.07. They're also hard to come by - and come with a wholly inappropriate price tag.

The issue is that the standards aren't compatible as MicroSD and MicroSDHC aren't the same thing. All cards officially state they only handle up to 4GB of media too.

If you want one so you can look at shiney shiney graphics and generally be a poser, by all means get a PSP.

If you want one to play games that are better designed towards fun rather than trying to make expensive hardware look like it was worth the extra cash, get a DS.

uhhhhhhhhhhh PSP is so much better than DS. Not to diss DS or anyhting, but PSP can watch movies, play games, and go online, you can carry songs, look at photos, and even has a web browser. Ever been bored at the doctor's and just fekt like going on youtube, and watching a really stupid movie? Me neither, until i got a PSP. Now ican do that if i want to. Not that anyone would.......

As can my PDA, but a PSP can't do half the stuff that can. If you're looking for a full solution, I'd say get a damn PDA. Won't stop you playing games on it, and whilst many are of lower quality due to hardware restrictions, overall they have to be good to be marketable as you cannot depend on flashy pricy graphic, and they can do so much more besides...

Here's something that I think says a lot.

A friend of mine bought a PSP.
His sister bought a DS.

After playing on the DS, and looking at the software catalogue compared to the PSP he sold his PSP and he's just now texted me saying he bought a DS.

Here's a conclusion, you're an idiot.

As you clearly can't decide yourself I feel you don't deserve either.

I'll give you a "conclusion". Stop to demand things and start to spell words correctly. That does not include words like "fuk" and "sht", those should be avoided in the first place. I'll leave the topic open for now. Next time you behave like this, it will be locked and you get a warn.
