Hi, I'm new to modding, and need to find a good place to start. I'm not a member here yet, but probably will become one in the (near) future. I have lots of ideas for different types of mods, all written out, a lot with stats too. My ideas include a mod on the Early Third Age (dwarf and orc wars, helm hammerhand vs. dunlendings, three great fleets of harad and umbar, etc), a mod on the Second Age, and a mod to add in Harry Potter (now that book 7 is out). ;)
But the only thing is, I have no experience in modding, and am just wondering where i should start. I know about the tutorials and such, but just would like some input on a good base. Perhaps later, when i improve, you'll see me back here starting a mod :good: . Thanks in advance.

Where I started was with small things, like moving a power from 1 hero to another, or making a hero using existing models and anims. After I mastered the basics (at least I think ;) ) , I moved onto things like new factions and buildings. Now, I'm coding alot harder stuff (somtimes it ticks me off, too :good: ).

I started messing around with coding and moddeling, found them both easy, maybe you should give them a try first, but like Eonwe said art is the easiest. Though if you need any help with anything I would be glad to help and im sure so would tohers, good luck
