If you answered 1 or 2 to either or both of the above, was it on religious grounds?

I have no problem with people who are homosexual, or transgender, however I will admit to mild homophobia in that I find being called gay offencive, and I don't like the thought of gay intamacy (this doesn't count for lesbians).

I'd also stear clear of going out with a transgender

as for what would be offencive/respectful:

I'd not be offended if a gay hit on me, I'd simply tell them I'm not gay
Public displays off affection wouldn't bother me aslong as they didn't go beyond hugs or kisses, further then that I would find disturbing.
As to someone telling you they're gay, it's not something I'd expect to hear out of the blue but I can't see why it would be offencive

a final point, religion has never decided anything for me, I've always been of the oppinion that what I experience should be used to form my beleifs rather then what I beleive in telling me what I'm experiencing.

The town that I live in, Northampton MA received the nickname Lesbianville, MA at one point. I'm grown up surrounded by a strong gay community. I've had gay neighbors, friends, parents of friends, synagogue members, etc. I would consider myself completely accepting of gays. The only problem I've ever had with them is when someone I know kept hitting on me even though he knew damn well I was straight....but then again I wasn't sure what kind of pill he taken right before seeing me. Might've been ecstasy.

As far as my ideals and politics go, I am accepting of trans genders. However, I still feel very uncomfortable around male - to - females, though I try not too...

a) I find male homosexuality repulsive
b) I'm not going to let that affect my judgement

Whoever you wish to share your precious bodily fuids with, I don't care. It's your choice. Much the same way I find some women attractive, I can understand that other people find some of their own gender appropriate. If a homosexual were to attempt to initiate a relationship, the problem arrising would be that I am not homosexual. I will be able to accept this the same way homosexuals should be able to accept my sexual conviction.

Now, since I find male homosexuality repulsive, I will be repulsed. Hence, I won't watch gay porn, and the chances are high I won't watch a movie concentrated on a persons homosexuality. I might be shocked should someone of my gender mention their affection to me, and I might seem anti-homosexual in much the same way i am anti-people i am not in love with.

Now, having a homosexual in my distant familiy, I am very aware how completely normal they are, he was a very nice person to talk to. There were no visible signs, and I couldn't have guessed had I not been told afterwards.

For those of you believeing me to be atherist, I am not. I am Christian, but I do not let myself be affected be passages from ancient writing. The Bible might say "Thou shall not lie with a man as thy do with a woman, that is detestable." but I also believe it says loads of things about acceptance and such, which to my understanding is more important.

The only problem I have with homosexuals is the same problem I have with feminists, minorities, and every other non-majority group. They bicker about their rights east and west, demanding equality while boasting moral high ground. I accept you. Whoever gets to hold the boquett at the wedding really doesn't bother me. I won't elect a female/homosexual/crippeled/young state leader because of that, I will elect them for my belief in their ability to lead the nation.

I am very accepting of both, as one of my best friends is gay, and much to my discomfort he is ashamed of it. Worst thign is, he's a fucking good guy who i've known for years, and without hesitation, I can say he is without doubt the most level headed guy in the world. No, not you CJ! Yes your level headed, but still!

People define love in archaic biblical terms, and that frankly, is backwards. To find male homosexuality a bad thing, is moronic. Infact I am actually insulted, as if you find my friend to be someone not on par, you find me to be scum, as I will take his back any time some barstard tries to take a pop at what is something that cannot be controlled.

Love cannot be defined by words, only actions, and it should not matter with who these actions are taken. Man to woman, man to man or woman to woman, these things are not defined to simple genders but two people who can connect. Who such a connection with is irrelevent, and thus, I admire anyone for the simple fact that they have it.

We come into this god forasken hell hole alone. Wether we leave it alone is down to us. Be it with someone same sex or not, we can truly say, we did not leave alone.
Natus 3.4

Corrupt program now requires constant reboots and does not function at all in majority of instances. Designed with a web browser component to replace AOL, it has exceeded our expectations by being more crashy and unreliable and with worse tech support. We didn't think it was physically possible! A general product recall is advised; when it does function it seems to require background processes Girl 0.1Beta to stave off further crashes. Will someone PLEASE remove that code, and insert Backbone 1.9 in its place? That's assuming we even bother to continue this prog.
