also, i'm interested in what exactly a captain of gondor does.... leadership?
finally, (sorry for so many questions) how does denethor defend himself? I mean, from reading the forums, it seems like he just stands around and doesn't do much
thanks!
by the way, it's an awesome mod without seeing the screenshots!
All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken:
The crownless again shall be king.
And as if in answer there came from far away another note.
Horns, horns, horns. In dark Mindolluin's sides they dimly echoed.
Great horns of the North wildly blowing. Rohan had come at last!
BFME+ is back in action!

Yes, Denethor is accompanied by a group of Citadel Guards. His purpose isn't that of a frontline fighter, he should remain in the back of your army, well protected by your other heroes and units.from what i have heard, denethor has a company of guards that protect and follow him around

but he didn't fight in the war of the ring. And that's the point.
"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides
By the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men.
Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will,
Shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness,
For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children.
And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger
Those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers.
And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you."

As far as i know, Denethor was a great fighter during his younger days and probably in his older ones as well.
but he didn't fight in the war of the ring. And that's the point.
Same goes for Elrond and Cirdan.
