Just got back from anime evolution which is one of the largest anime conventions in western north america. It was a pritty sweet day, (got me on of those wicked Akatsuki robes) lots of venders, artists, and cosplayers.

Any one else ever been to one? There just lots of fun even if you arnt the most hard core anime fan out there.

I've never been to an anime convention, don't have to money to go or know what to do when or if I do.

well Otakon was expensive, $60 to get in, but I think it's for wht whole weekend instead of just the one day like we did, much more worthwhile if you stay for all 3 days. That and they pretty much took up the entire Baltimore Convention Center. good stuff lol

LOL, I can barely afford my own. But it was $35 for the day and you get free manga, magazine, and anime when you register. Lots of cool shows and stuff, they had big movie rooms where they were playing anime and movies and stuff.

Damn that's alot of free stuff, Katsukon was $35 too but we never get that much gree stuff, well the magazine but you get a whole freakin Manga? Lucky!!!

Oh and they sold so many different costumes, including Haruhi School uniforms, FMA army Uniforms, Seed clothing, and the list goes on and on and on.


personally I give credit to those who made their own costumes, that way there's so much more meaning to it ^^

The hot thing at AE this year was soul reapers, like 50-60 of them, couldn't turn around with out bumping into a soulreaper.

that happens at most conventions I go to, that and the FF series, along with Naruto stuff.

and for the record I go with the term Shinigami, lol

FMA is always pupolar, with its army of Female Ed cosplayers, and some uniform people. Im Garra FTW I think my costume is pretty well made. if anyone asks me where my sand gourd is I'll tell them it's going around killing the people who have previously asked me that question, and I yell at every single Diedra cosplayers, they know what they did............

The only problem is that you don't have the right hat for it and no band to show which village your from.

Thats the thing its just me new hat, I wasn't going to dress up but when I got there I was in the minority of people not "dressed for the ocasion". So I bought the coat to blend in a little, the hat I got from the Indiana show at MGM studios in florida. My friend called me the nerd hunter... XD
