This topic is for those who want to show what they have done as their first steps in the world of CNC3 modding, but don't really have fancy new models or skins that would justify a new topic.


I'll make a start with my modified Juggernaut projectile. It has always bugged me that an artillery unit is firing in a straight line low above the ground (how would that work anyway?). Of course, the unit would need a new shotting animation and probably some more fancy Particle FX, but hey, it's a start:

Good start, not you just need it to aim upwards to it doesn't look weird.

Damnit!! i dont even know how to start an freaking mod.. the documentation is to complicated!! and building an mod just gives an useles .big file! if someone could make an topic on how to begin youre mod.....

Believe me, reading and understanding the documentation is the first step. Take your time to understand it, then you know how to get started. If you have problems understanding a specific part of it, ask here.

All I've done is swapping the radar from the ConYard to the Outpost/Operations Center :p Not much, but it's a start!

Just unzip the contents into: My Documents\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\mods. Then head to the Command & Conquer 3 Control Center, and select the Game Launcher Button. Navigate to the Mod Launcher Tab, select RadarMod, and hit Launch Game :spam:

I've done a simple music change test mod (changes menu & ingame musics) last week and incase anybody interested, you can download it here and try it out, i'm working to do a more larger classic C&C music mod ideally but keep getting issues with C&C3 crashing :thumbsupdrool:

note I have not included the mod_l.xml system to that so you may need to adjust details higher than low for it to work.

Think yourself lucky Godsun I cant even use the Mod SDK I click the Exe that you download and it makes the error sound you get when a bad window pops up but no window.

I cant even install it :(

Well, iam really lucky mate! I got evrything working now :). But iam still working on alot of stuff and fine tuning it! :p.. ill post screenies later :p!


Mainmneu music changed!
Walls added!
Changed lots of prices!
Changed unit speeds!
Changed building Radius where other buildings can build!
Cranes can build defences(not so hard.. we still have 1.06 Xmls... >_>
Ehhh.... thats it AFAIK.. ill change the radar later on..
Nod Defences are changed to! 6 , and 6! :p The anti air rockets fire 6 missles! :p
Scorpion tank fire's 2 shots after each other:P!
Tiberium growth range/cash/speed changed...
and alot more!
