Pardon Dain, he has ALWAYS been a bit of a newbie slayer.

You seem like a guy who is willing to learn, which is excellent. Just keep practicing!

i know it WASNT gonna start big i was just gonna edit the existing factions then add the new ones.
me and deathbringer are gonna quit it and make a smaller one which will probably just edit the existing after matias teaches me much more about skinning. he taught me to shade and brighten :p.

then it's ok to ocassionaly come to the forum with a problem

No, I'm not being mean, I'm telling the truth. You won't get anywhere the way your currently going. Ditch the idea of making ANY mod until you learn how to.

Not really in this community, and I'm sure he wasn't so silly to start huge projects before knowing HOW to do them. Everyone was once a newbie, and if you use that as an excuse to continue thinking of huge heaps of stupid mods with no original content (read: NO content) at all because you cant do anything, then be my guest. I warned you.

Oh and sure you guys can do some stuff, like taking parts of existing models and adding them to other existing models. That's not nearly enough to do what you plan on doing. And Guess Who, I answered your questions and told you whats important to know as a starting skinner, I'm not your mentor, teacher or anything silly like that. You could have EASILY figured those things out by yourself. If you have a question you think I can answer then you can ask it, but don't propagandise my name around like I'm some divine being who is incredibly nice and helps you with everything you need.

I'm not.

He went around IP saying Matias was his current mentor and that Matias was better at skinning than Nereta, so he would be able to skin well soon  .

DainIronFoot you have been newbie too.

I fully remember being new to BFME. My first post involved a fairly poorish marchwarden skin and a Gondor spearman. Then I just went on making random stuff from there, learning as I went until I fell into RA. I didn't arrive with super huge ideas or asking for help. I just taught myself as I went along. However I'd lurked in many a mod community and had some idea of mod ettiquete and general common sense.

Being new doesn't mean you have to act like a newbie.
