Righty, well we've managed to get it ingame with its texture, however, when we tried to export it with the Normalmap shader + normal map textures, it turned out very odd, looks like smoothing problems, but it isnt since you cant have smoothing at the same time as normals (or so ive been told by Torn, blame him for my ignorance)...

Ideas?

men du är också man, och det är mer."

Select the object, apply a mesh smooth, and choose auto. Also, how did you create the normal map? You should create a heightfield and use the NVidia normal map filter in Photoshop.

Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

Ok, looks like the problem lies with the model. I've tried setting the model to all one smoothing group, and low and behold, it looks exactly like what happened when I exported with a normal map (in the first screenshot). Loads of smoothing groups don't work with normal maps so it appears like either during exporting or in the engine, the model is rendered with a single smoothing group when a normal map is applied... hence the result above.
