Though, there is a similar thing with RS isn't there?
...Now to get it looking good. RS looks large (low res for now) and C&C3 even has nearly the same issue... just also a lack of detail. Going to have to mess with that. Though, that can wait because my computer is still my main computer. Laptop is just for portability.

And thats just theoretically, in practice my gfx card takes 64mb from that, leaving me with 0.0625GB, so don't go blaming your gfx card either.

beyond the eternal pleasure of war, when the dead rule and the living die, and the pain of destruction has reigned. when skulls are crushed under the threads of heavy metal. when this time comes i shall arise and rule you all HAIL TO THE KING. praise all forms of xeno for they inherit the future

its because vista suxx
Actually, it is buggy with a lot of programs. Blue screens with Firefox if it's the default browser. I would not be shocked if it was simply buggy with YR or whatnot.

Anyways, believe it or not, future versions will require system specs slightly beefier than YR's recommended... Remember how fuckloads of units used to slow things to a crawl regardless of specs?
I have actually attempted to slug the 2.0 beta up, and have failed. Even online it's massively faster than ever.

YR will run fine if put in Administrator Mode, and if you run the non-TFD version Compability mode may be required too.
So many things are fixed by Administrator mode. Voxel Section Editor for example.

Seriously guys...Vista ain't bad. I had more problems getting YR to work on XP than Vista.
As for IPX, I believe installing Service Advertising Protocol under your LAN connection (or its equivalent in Vista) SHOULD give you an IPX/emulator or something...unless I was seeing things...
