Missions?

With this new information, the commander went to attack something peculiar he took note of. The base Nexus set up in the middle of what used to be the most popular highway the humans used to transport materials for the war on Nexus has malfunctioned (Canon Fodder map with the nutral all tech base in the middle). Nexus was already setting course to settle the malfunctioned base himself by retaking or destroying it. However, the base in the middle set up a base in the southeast.
Once Nexus was completely rid from the area, and Dastreus was able to regain the strategic highway for human use, his troops celebrated. After the celebrations ceased, a distress signal came from where the Allied Legion had set up a base and airport near a hospitol (to both guard and use the hospitol for medical purposes - thus the airport nearby) (Bulzumes Fall map).
My next "Mission" is to defend the Hospitol and Airport, as well as whatever remains of the Allied Legion base. Though, since they are merely allied dogs, I can let a few buildings at their ruined base fall.
And on the eighth day, god created kbyhil.hjfvgchtnm jhv o9, nhp;.

Also I think of multiplayer games in the same thing.
Around the team we might do a campaign, but we need voice actors, FMV modellers? (would be nice), pizza, and most of all a map coder..

Around the team we might do a campaign
I can almost see them now.
For the Allied Legion :
The first mission will be at the start of Nexus's attacks, you will have to reach a clearing and secure it until your MCV arrives. You will then have to hold of Nexus's ever growing hordes until transport can arrive.
Objectives
- Get Away
- Build a Base
- Survive
Objectives
- Rescue Einstein
- Destroy Nexus
Nexus has taken control of the city, now there is no way out, our only hope is the civilian airport in the city center. However any aircraft passing the city will be shot down, we must destroy Nexus's turrets or his power plants.
Objectives
- Secure the Airport
- Destroy the Laser Turrets or cut off Their Power
- The Airport Must Not Fall

according to our determinedly dopey Prime Minister Mr Brown, Obama also has a beach in Normandy named after him. If that can't win you an election, what can?

A few ideas tossed around the team was more or less first mission secure the Time Machine, because it's being fugged by the Freedom League, and of course if you use it to go back in time, you can stop Nexus from starting the conflict. So as you'll approach the base to secure the Time Machine, you'll encounter resistance from the League. Eventually when you've finished off these pesky raiders, you'll arrive at the Time Machine and then when all seems good and you're getting there.. BAM Nexus blows it up sky high with a Laser Satellite with a heavy force of Centurions and ADV Tanks rolling over the high-tech research facility with Nexus saying 'Going somewhere Commander? Hahahahaha!'. When all seems doomed those pesky Freedom League raiders return with a heck of a lot of heavy backup designed to finish you off but then they run smack right into Nexus
Of course he's like 'You dare to attack me!' and fights back, and while these two giants are slugging it out, you have to get away and fast. It then becomes clear that Nexus was the one to orchestrate the League into ridding you by throwing information around saying theres lots of goodies to grab at Einsteins main research base, putting a few words in with FL leaders about the secret location of the Time Machine (because you'd want to stop the enemy's ultimate weapon which can reverse everything). In case the Freedom League got 'too' curious about the Time Machine he snuck in a heavy batallion and plonked the Laser Satellite directly above it, but didn't expect you coming around.. so when he takes matters into his own hands he gets more than what he bargained for when he runs smack into the League
We might just write this into the backstory though. The way things are, the Allies only kept 1 Time Machine, and prolonged use would destabilise the timeline, so they didn't really use it after Yuri used a complete partial Dominator network or else you'd really break the universe When a timeshift happens though, you have to leave the timeline to heal itself before you could use it again. Time travel was also too powerful and could never be trusted in the hands of one nation, so it was probably given to a heavily fortified U.N. base with Einstein's Research Base stuck with it. Oh yeah no plans no backup no blueprints for the Time Machine either, and with Einstein dead, no cheesy time travel plots..

Maybe worst case scenario, he sends secret pandora's box of all AL technologies after his death incase of Nexus revolt? This can also explain how Nexus got his grubby paws on some of the tech, but not a complete database perhaps..

Well, i'm sure you would attract lot more talent if you had a campaign first. If you just keep waiting for all the pieces to be there, people aren't likely to be to enthusiastic about it.Ah I play in that creative style too
Also I think of multiplayer games in the same thing.

Even some kind of 1 or 3 mission taster would do, if it's innovative, fun to play, has a coherent storyline, and perhaps the last, good looking.
And announcing need for voice actors & the like at sites like PlanetCNC, Moddb would help too. Some kind of promotion material to go with that announcement, usually gets people interested, even if its just 1 minute gameplay clip, or a wallpaper.

If Einstein's dead, how could he provide all the new tech for the AL?
He founded most of it during the Yuri war, then the Allied scientists learned a lot from being tutored about the mechanics and improved it?

Well Einstein gets killed by NEXUS plot early on by a supposedly leaked information on time machine etc and that Allies plan go back in time to stop FL for good etc so FL is provoked to level the place along Einstein's laboratory and idea was that player gets to do it
With 'ol Einstein out of the way... NEXUS is less threatened by shut down as others don't know nexus systems that well. (you know thats first thing humans try do..shut it down when it rebels...)

Sorry to disappoint you but RS was founded initially solely for multiplayer battle experiences with later on possibility for a campaign which has been planned out mission by mission but theres that thing about maintaining compatibility with the missions as some might recall...
most mods fuck ordinary game campaigns up so obviously if i make campaign for 1.99 and then do this 2.0 massive overhaul..the missions will be broken and be horrible mess to fix up so basically i'd endup scripting the missions again for every new version or let public suffer with glitches like MO campaign (no offense meant to speeder)

Einstein is dead though
Yeah well maybe after this mission (V) his transport gets shot down / blown up.
For the Allied Legion :
The first mission will be at the start of Nexus's attacks, you will have to reach a clearing and secure it until your MCV arrives. You will then have to hold of Nexus's ever growing hordes until transport can arrive.
Objectives
1. Get Away
2. Build a Base
3. Survive
The second mission you will have to rescue Einstein who's getting chased by Nexus's army. Having run so far Einstein will be cut off by two Advanced Robot Tanks and taking to a holding pen.
Objectives
1. Rescue Einstein
2. Destroy Nexus

THERE ARE NO OFFICIAL Robot Storm Missions in any of released mod versions to date so don't bother looking for such 'fix'
