Well, I am very glad I chose to get a wii. It's brilliant!

It feels like quality, where the 360 feels cheap and shoddy in comparison. The wii-mote is rock solid and nicely made. The same goes for the console, the built quality is excellent.

I was a little dubious about the graphics at first (I'm a total graphics whore) but I sort of realised it didn't matter when I started playing Zelda. It looks fucking beautiful, there's the odd bit of low resolution texture that I pick out, but on the whole, it is an artistic masterpiece. If all the games can look that good, I've got no problems!

It's great for getting other people into games too, my parents like the sports and rayman (another crackin' game). I got resident evil 4 too. Great fun playing it on the wii, aiming like a real gun

I just finished Zelda about 10 minutes ago, magnificent game. I'd buy a wii just for that.

I think the feel of the 360 is down to having empty space that makes it feel a bit hollow. Whereas the Wii is packed into that tiny space.

Quite so, though, I still feel that the 360's build quality is inferior, especially considering that Nintendo makes a profit on every console sold compared to M$ that loses money on each console. M$ is losing money, and it seems that they have chopped quality to chop costs. I reckon Nintendo would not have compromised.

I still cannot get over how fucking brilliant Zelda was. First Zelda game I've played. Mind blowingly good.

I my wii. I don't like how some big name titles overshoot the wii because of its rendering weakness, but of the game that we do see on the wii they are amazing! I am very happy I bought my wii over any other next-gen console. saved some money and had a ton of fun in the process.

And Cal, you should realise... Zelda on Wii uses a Gamecube engine..

the graphics will improve over time, just look at the first ps2 game and compare it to the last...

heard that resident evil 4 was epic for the wii, considering to get that.

poor calamity, he missed out on ocarina of time and majora's mask. imo much better games than twilight princess.

get an emulator and dig yourself down in an virtual world cal

No need for an emulator if he can pick up Wind Waker second hand with the bonus disc.
Or the other Zelda bonus disc.

My Wii hasn't been getting much use after I finished Zelda and Wario Ware (neither has my 360 since I got bored of Dead Rising and Lost Planet).
I picked up Resi 4 because I want to play the PS2 extra bits. Unfortunately you have to finish the normal single player first - fine I thought, I'll soon get through that.

Oh dear god.
It's been taking me sodding ages. So much nicer with the new aiming but it feels so long having done it before on Gamecube.

The thing is, the best two Wii games are both GC ports. Which says alot for the software catalogue at the moment.

Trauma Center, its all about Trauma Center guys, but even that`s still essentially a DS game. Great originality, if a tad frustrating at times.

Paper Mario out in EU soon, looking forward to playing that. Alot.

Metroid Primer Corruption is awesome. Shame people in the EU have to wait forever if they have an unmodded wii. Trauma Centre is indeed awesome. Paper Mario I have but have not played past testing if the disc worked.

I know it's a gamecube game, I was under the impression that they tarted up the graphics, however subtly. Regardless, it's a magnificent game, the lighting is superb, it has mountains of atmosphere and feeling to it. The twilight and the light are so well done, the twilight has a strange ethereal feel to it, yet is not sinister. Graphics always do improve with time, game designers learn how to get the very best from the console, I'm happy with Twilight Princess, so it can only get better with age... Like a good wine!

They improved resident evil 4 a bit too, though it still looks a bit muddy in places. They can only improve it so much.

Resident Evil 4 is brilliant fun on the wii. It bodes well for future fps games methinks.

I've heard great things about the new Metroid Prime, but yeah we have to wait until the end of October, unfortunately.

Anyone still playing Wii Sports? I've found that Golf is the one that I'm still playing, my brother managed to get -7 over 9 holes, I'm always on course for an immense score but always end up triple bogeying somewhere.

You should buy THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: OCARINA OF TIME from the VIRTUAL CONSOLE to be honest, its like on par with THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: TWILIGHT PRINCESS.

also.. i seem to play baseball the most... well immense when you start to hit every ball...

Super Mario Brothers and Super Mario Brothers 2 are where it's at on Virtual Console. I'm really waiting for SMB 3 so I can try to actually beat it one day.
