I've had this idea for a long time, but it would be too time-consuming and difficult. However, if we work on it with multiple people, it shouldn't be that hard and doable as a side-job. Is this a good idea, or am I talking nonsense?

If this will get done, which I hope, and the battle that is chosen is from maybe Second Age () I will be happy to contribute with stuff from LA Or actually, any battle will do because this would be so cool

i believe 3ds max has much more flexibility that w3d viewer as you can make a hell of a lot more cool things happen in it, like moving the camera round and stuff (tho i dont quite know how)

yeah thats what i meant, using 3ds for a massive battle is suicidal for your computer
so what sort of things were you thinking of doing?

i think hobbit would be cool, with secondary votes from me going to shelobs lair, the battle from the last alliance where sauron was destroyed (forgetting name ) or black gate.
