I think we might add IG-88. But it really depends on whether or not the CIS needs it.

We could give him some really cool powers with the amazing CNC3 particle FX.

Im not sure he would fit in right he wasnt built at that time he was built i think either right before episode 4 or during it so he would be quite out of place.

I remember that name from Battlefront II

I don't think we'll add him, he doesn't really seem to have many possible powers. Plus, he can't really fight.

But we will have Geonosians.

Unless any fluff contradicts me here, but lizards have quite a lifespan. I would seriously consider making Bossk a part of the extraordinary 'KillerForHire'-Section that i am secretely hoping you are secretely planning to incorporate for any faction! :p

What Hostile said is true, bounty hunters would make a great addition.

Zam Wesell is most certainly an interesting idea. We don't have her planned to be in the mod, not sure if she is important enough, but she sure would be cool to have.
...

And coolness is, what Star Wars was about even 25 years ago.

IG-88 was an experimental series of robots. All are dead but him. And let's not forget Dengar for Gods sake. He actually got married and gave up bounty hunting, but came back to it.

Sorta like us modders.

bounty hunters would be sweet :p not sure if this works in c&c3, since i dont have it, but at least in bfme you put a building at an outpost and get them from there. that way both factions could have them. theres so many cool possibilities...4-lom, boba, bossk, etc.

also, the CIS should get all their leaders, like poggle the lesser, san hill, sun fac, wat tambor, shu mai, and nute who could each buff a certain aspect of the CIS. San hill for instance could increase resource gathering and hailfire droid production rates (leader of intergalactic banking clan)

@YodaWarrior: We do have an idea like that, but instead of being able to buy those leaders as heroes, you can 'forge alliances' with them and gain bonuses like that (e.g. San Hill of the Banking Clan, you would get increased resources).

Also, yes, there are places (like the Mutant Hovel) like the outpost where you can capture and recruit neutral units to fight for you.

@Hostile: I do like the idea of having a Bounty Hunter recruiting place, like the Mutant Hovel. We'll probably have people like Bossk and IG-88 recruitable from there.

This is a massive BUMP, I know, and I'm sorry. I just NEED to suggest this.

Now, I've been following this mod for a long time, and you may have seen me suggest this multiple times. Hell, a few hours ago I posted this suggestion in a comment on one of your Plo Koon renders, but I'll say it here again, for convenienve sake.

KIT FISTO.

You said earlier (around three years to be exact :S) that Ki-Adi-Mundi was in. If he's in the game, Kit Fisto purely deserves to be in there too.

Yeah, I may be a "fanboy" of Kit, but I wouldn't be a "fanboy" if he weren't totally awesome, aye? He is one of the most unique jedi masters in Star Wars, baring one hell of an acrobatic fighting style, which reflects off Yoda, whom trained him as a pupil. Yeah, Yoda trained him, so he must be damn good, aye?

Kit Fisto's appearance in Episode 3 was horribly done... gosh, they didn't even do anything with him. Nonetheless, he has a massive fanbase. You guys may not know him all that much, but you'll find a lot of people actually love the Nautolan via a quick Google search. :) He has a number of books strongly featuring him as one of the few main characters (Cestus Deception being one of the main ones), and was even one of the first few jedi shown in the new Clone Wars. Before Aayla Secura, and Way before Ki-adi-Mundi.

And his signature smile... his Jamaican accent, and wide grin. He'd be so damn unique! All the other jedi would be all like "Got it" and "I'm on my way!", while Kit Fisto would actually laugh before saying "It would be my pleaure" in a joke-ish tone. He would actually laugh in the face of battle, much like in Episode 2, where he smiles whilst battling the droids in the Geonosian Arena. ;D

Forgive me for my massive fanboy request. I know I got carried away, but please don't flame me. If you want to really make this game unique and appeal to a wider span of fans (because Jedi Heroes essentially with the EXACT SAME ATTUTUDES seems a bit... robotic to me, and sadly, that's how 90% of the Jedi Masters out there are), then Kit is the way to go.

Wow, I sound like such a massive newby. It's just... Kit Fisto is so damn bad-ass! He has MEAT TENDRILS, DUDE! HOW FULLY SICK IS THAT?!?

(P.S. I may be a one-post member, but that's purely because I just signed up to express my opinion now. I'll contribute more in discussion about the demo in the future)

I'm glad to be able to tell you this, so here goes...

Kit Fist IS indeed in the mod! He is already modeled, and will be textured in the near future. I believe that all the cool Jedi deserve to be in, and I plan to work them in one way or another.

Yeah. You could at least throw them in if you have the models, even if their not going to be used in skirmish.

I am wondering about the heroes... There are no heroes in SC2 skirmish mode, I guess the system will be similar to WC3 heroes? That's probably the easiest with the engine.

Yeah, that's what we had planned on doing. I think it'll work out just fine.

YES! ZOMG ZOMG AWESOMESAUCE! *Insert crazed smiley face here*

Sorry for the outburst of noobage, but seriously, I could kiss you! Well... no, I can't, but VIRTUAL KISSES!! Hehe, nah, but seriously, that is FREAKIN' AWESOME! I always wanted to play as Kit Fisto in a RTS with great graphics, and you guys are more than capable of creating quality models, from what I've seen! My favorite game mechanics mixed with my favorite character.... YES!

I'm sooooo glad about that. Any doubts I had about getting Starcrat 2 have been completely wiped away. Not like I really had any doubts, but nonetheless, YAY!

I've never been so excited for one in my life! Oh crud, I haven't even thanked you yet! THANK YOU!

*Skips away cheerfully*

Oh no, Starcraft II is totally worth the money just because of all the awesome mods and custom maps, even if you never play campaign or skirmish.

I share your joy, Tarvonas. :thumbsdownsmiley:

I totally agree with Gfire. SC2 will be worth the money spent simple because its editor will be a powerful tool which will allow moders to create great modifications. Imagine for example DotA in SC2 editor! There are even rumors that the editor could be used to create FPS mods. :p

Not just rumors, it's been done already. http://www.youtube.c...eos=nhxCjzIe6Zc

Not the best, but just imagine what people can do with more time. No custom models or anything in this one.
Greetings, community.
