hello i am a new member and i recently downloaded a tiberium wars xml editor by john wilson. i used it and i went into sdk files and into structures. nod structurs and i couldnt originally edit those files, they were on read only. i changed it to not be read only and i changed the build time and the cost of a nod power plant. the thing was when i went into the game the original price and build time was the same. what am i doing wrong? how do i edit the xml files for tiberium wars?

Hey and welcome to Revora :good:

I hope you're not saying that you modified the files in the folder CnC3Xml, because those are not meant to be modified. If that's the case, start reading the documentation that came with the SDK on how to set up a new mod.
If that's not the case, elaborate on what you've done exactly.

Moved this to the CNC3.net Editing forum.

Read the documentation that comes with the SDK.

ok i reed the documentation, but it talks about building a whole mod, isnt there any way to just make simple changes not having to make a whole new mod from scratch?

No, there isn't. Modding is actually about making mods :D
