Heroes

Thingol

Build Cost: 5000
Description: Thingol will be a very powerful melee hero, who can easily take down grouped enemies due to his skill with a blade.

Abilities:
Lord of Beleriand - Level 1 - Armour and damage boosts to all nearby units
Rage of the Sindar - Level 2 - Temporarily gets damage boost, although loses armour during that time
Father Of Luthien - Level 3 - Gives leadership to Luthien if she is nearby
Love of Melian - Level 6 - Gets passive stat boosts, due to Melian lending him power
Silmaril - Needs silmaril to be in his possession - All nearby enemies will focus their attacks on Thingol. Useful if he's surrounded by weak allies
Melian

Build Cost: 2000
Description: Melian will be a support hero. Although she can hold her own against weaker enemies, she has neither the damage or the armour to defeat them herself. Her spells however can change the tide of a battle in the Teleris favour.

Abilities:
Melian's Teachings - Level 1 - Nearby heroes get small boost to rate at which they gain experience
Rage of the Maiar - Level 1 - Powerful magic attack that knocksback enemies in a decent radius
Lembas - Level 2 - Through the power of Lembas Melian heals nearby units and heroes
Wisdom of the Maiar - Level 5 - Gives targeted units a decent amount of experience
Girdle Of Melian - Level 10 - Very powerful melee attack that drives enemies back a very long way. Useful for when your army needs to retreat
Luthien

Build Cost: 1500
Description: Luthien is a scout hero, although after leveling up a bit she can become very useful. Her death is an important event for the Teleri, and as such 1 of 2 things will happen:

1) There is a 66% chance that nearby allies will go into "mourning", making them not able to do anything for about 15 seconds
2) There is a 33% chance that nearby allies will try to avenge her, and as such get large damage and speed boost (although lose armour) for about 15 seconds

Abilities:
Cloak - Level 1 - Luthien puts on her cloak made of her own hair, which allows her to be invisible except for when attacking
Song of Tinuviel - Level 2 - Decent magic attack that does 3 things: 1. Does small amounts of damage to nearby enemies. 2. Scares off nearby enemy units. 3. Puts nearby enemy heroes to sleep, making them unable to do anything for a while.
Mount - Level 3 - Luthien mounts the great hound Huan
Hound of Valinor - Level 5 - Gives Luthien huge boosts, although it can only be used when mounted
Tears of Nienna - Level 7 - Grants increased health regeneration to all nearby allies
Berens Army - Level 10 - Summons Beren and many Laiquendi Elves
Celeborn

Build Cost: 1800
Description: Celeborn will be another useful support hero for the Teleri. While being in no way an unskilled swordsman, he can not be depended on to be a one-man(or elf) army. Once he reaches level 5 he should always accompany your magic based heroes.

Abilities:
Prince of Doriath - Level 1 - Small armour boost to nearby Doriath units
Sword Master - Level 3 - Temporarily gets increased armour and damage
Lord of Gifts - Level 5 - Grants nearby heroes with reduced ability recharge time
Galadriel - Level 10 - Summons his beloved Galadriel to the battle. She stays until she dies, and the ability becomes unusable once she's been summoned (i.e. you have to make the most of her)
Mablung

Build Cost: 1400
Description: Mablung is a unique hero for the Teleri, as he is the only hero with leadership who can mount. This means he can charge backwards and forwards in battle, lending leadership where it's most suited. He is a good fighter, and once he reaches level 5 he becomes deadly to his enemies.

Abilities:
Captain of Doriath - Level 1 - Gives small damage and speed boosts to nearby Doriath units
Mount - Level 1 - Mounts Mablung on his horse
Wolf Bane - Level 3 - Mablung hurls a deadly spear at the enemy. Does insane damage to wolves
Mablung of the Heavy Hand - Level 5 - Gets a passive damage increase, and is able to hit multiple enemies at once
Valour of the Sindar - Level 9 - Mablung and nearby Sindar units temporarily get large stat boosts
Beleg

Build Cost: 2500
Description: Beleg is the best archer in the game, although he should be used as just this. The other archers (Olwe, Fingon etc) are able to hold their own in melee aswell, whereas Beleg is not (although a highly ranked Beleg might be able to do well in melee, you should not rely on this). He is basically a sniper, meaning that against monsters and heroes he will be amazing, but against massed enemies he will struggle.

Abilities:
Captain of the Marchwardens - Level 1 - Nearby marchwardens and Axemen get a passive damage boost
Dailir - Level 3 - An arrow attack that does the same damage as his normal arrows, but lowers the stats of the targeted enemy
Weapon Toggle - Level 5 - Allows Beleg to switch between his bow and sword
Master of Archers - Level 7 - Gives targeted archers a decent amount of experience
Cirdan

Build Cost: 1200
Description: Cirdan is a hero who needs to be used in a very specific way, if you wish to succeed with him. He has weak damage, and can't take much punishment. However, he has one of the best leaderships in the game, and although it only effects certain units, it does turn them into a formidable force. Once built, he allows the Falathrim units to be trained, and ships to purchase upgrades.

Abilities:
Lord of the Havens - Level 1 - Nearby Falathrim units get a large damage boost and a small armour boost
Foresight - Level 4 - Temporarily gets huge armour boost
Hidden Waters - Level 6 - A large amount of water comes up from the ground, destroying anythig in its path
Winds from the Sea - Level 8 - Stealths targeted allies for a large amount of time
Olwe

Build Cost: 4500
Description: Olwe is a versatile hero. He deals good damage whether wielding his sword or firing his bow, and he gets some very useful abilities as he levels up. Purchasing Olwe unlocks the Alqualonde units (who will be buffed to compensate for Olwes high build cost).

Abilities:
Lord of Alqualonde - Level 1 - Grants armour and damage boosts to Alqualonde units
Weapon Toggle - Level 1 - Swicthes between melee and ranged attack modes
Wrath Of Osse - Level 3 - Summons the power of Osse into Olwes sword, creates a powerful magic attack. Only available in sword mode
Armour of Valinor - Level 5 - Gives passive armour boost and a new skin
Power of the Sea - Level 7 - Summons some Alqualonde Guardians
Spirits of the Valar - Level 9 - Makes all nearby units become invulnerable for a while
Turin

Build Cost: 3000
Description: Turin is a powerful melee hero, who will be most useful when faing massed enemy archers (he will have a very high dodge chance). Purchasing him will unlock the Outlaws.

Abilities:
Outlaw Captain - Level 1 - Pillage, armour and damage boosts to Outlaws
Hidden Volley - Level 3 - Calls a volley of arrows from hidden Outlaws
Hatred of the Orcs - Level 5 - Gets a passive weapon upgrade, which does radius damage that only hurts orcs (meaning he will bring down orc hordes very quickly)
Dragon Helm - Level 8 - Makes enemies fear him, gives small armour boost, negates the effect of his pillage (after he put it on he vowed to only hunt orcs, so he became good when wearing it )

Possible banner of the Falathrim units? A seaward tower with ships?

Banner of the Alqualonde units (I'm referring to the swan ships).

Banner of the Outlaw units (obviously neatened a bit, it was literally a 30 second job in Paint)

The Sindar are a subgroup of the Teleri. They were the ones that stayed in Beleriand rather than leave their King Thingol for Aman, who got lost in the woods where he met Melian.

You know you haven't read a Tolkien book in too long when you need to look up who people are to answer a question :p

Dior, yes he's important, but is he important enough to oust any of these existing heroes? I don't like factions having too many heroes (too many being when they don't fit on the hero selection bar :D).
