Hey Phoenix, I just noticed that you added a new screenshot featuring ARC-170's in combat. There is some other ship in the screenshot as well; it kind of resembles an Imperial Star Destroyer but with some subtle differences. Is this an Imperial Star Destroyer or some other ship?

The closest one is an ISD, the farthest one is an ISD, and the slightly hidden one in the asteroid field is a Venator I believe.

I don't think so. Look at the differences between this Star Destroyer and the one in the ARC-170 screenshot.

I think this may be some sort of upgraded Imperial Star Destroyer or a hero unit.

First, I agreed that it was an ISD, but then, after looking at it closer, I think it's the new model for the Victory-class Imperial Star Destroyer.

P.S. Sorry for not making an account yet :p I don't want more junk mail by giving out my email address. So I have stopped posting for awhile since I know you guys don't like guest posts.

It's not a Victory.

Oh ok. See I thought you were talking about the hidden unit in the field, not the actual ISD.

It may be an upgrade, or a hero unit.

I meant the main ship that takes up most of the SS, it looks a lot like a Victory-class Star Destroyer, just so you know which ship I'm talking about :p.

Yah I know which one you mean, but I must disagree about the Victory statement.

A Victory for one is a lot smaller than that, and it also has "extensions" (for lack of a better word) on the sides of it.

The bridge also looks decidedly different.

Also, the ISD that is the big one in front seems colored differently, although that might just be because of where it is on the map, shadow, etc.

Isn't this ship a Dominator Star Destroyer, an ISD with Interdictor abilities?

Oh I forgot that ship... it might be, the little turret-ish things look sort of like tiny grav-well generators.

Only PR can tell us for sure though!

I was thinking the same thing. My assumption is this is the upgrade ship for Loka Hask (assuming he is featured in Phoenix Rising) since he commanded a Dominator Cruiser. Maybe the ship in the screenshot can upgrade to include gravity well generators or something...

But like Decay said, we won't know until Phoenix tells us.

Wow, you guys really got worked up about this one. That's great :good:. I think I'll just announce it... stay tuned.

So I have stopped posting for awhile since I know you guys don't like guest posts.

Ahh, don't stop posting; really the guest thing is a minor inconvenience.

All I can say is that whoever spotted the additional command bridge below the main bridge has a very good eye for detail.
Without the picture of the normal ISD to compare against it's almost impossible to spot.
I'm pretty sure it's not an ISD II. I've not heard of the Dominator - sounds.. interesting.

All I can say for sure is... check all future screenshots ... carefully.

If you see something different - it's not your eyes... it IS different.

Yeah, I am generally updating the site between news posts, mostly with minor things like stats changes, but not everything gets announced right away! So it definitely pays to be diligent. In fact, there is another ship in some of the more recent shots that has yet to be announced (hint: it's in some of the ones in this thread).

Just checking, but is the ISD in screenshot 89 (2nd column, 3rd from top) an ISDII?

It has additional command superstructure below the main bridge, but I think it is different from the latest one in this thread. (Bridge wings more flared rather than flat).

The dome on the bottom is a reactor, not a gravity well.
