As you may or may not have been informed, a number of our Interceptors have gone MIA during patrol excercises in the last week. So far, we have only recovered the remains from one, and the below image was recovered from the blackbox, along with 20.4seconds of recorded radio transcripts - none of which was relayed back to the flight command.
We are reworking our comunication systems, and our scientists currently believe that a wave of energy generated at the same frequency as our transmittors was respsoncible for cancelling the message. We believe the below may be such energy weapons, but as to the larger bio-structures we are as yet unsure. All we know is that they are making a foothold, and everywhere these... These things have appeared, their numbers have grown exponentially.
