Just to know if I'm doing my marketing job right XD! I remember the first time I stumbled across this mod: I was surfing on T3A, drooling over the RA mod (have been following that one since the beginning), when I saw 'The Special Extended Edition mod' in the spotlight banner. I thought "Cool, a mod like Deezire's Extended Edition' but for TBFMEII! I downloaded the mod, made some comments, made some more comments, began posting some previews on other sites... Then Nazgul made me Marketing Manager, and eventually (first) beta-tester. This mod is still the greatest one available for TBFMEII; I absolutely loved it because it removed the faction colours (first mod I saw doing this), it made rushing useless, and most of all, it wasn't for ROTWK ;) !

So, what's your story?

I was actually surfing the EA forums looking for some tech support with an issue I was having with BFME1. Some random thread mentioned SEE, and I checked it out.

I first knew about it when Naz posted his first topic on BFME2 modding forum over 8 months or so ago. So, I guess I was one of the first to know about it ;)

I first discovered SEE when it was spotlight mod here at this forum, and I gave it a try because the huge PDF convinced me :p (it was either version 2 or 3, I'm not sure) However, the extremely high build times turned me away, and I was losing interest in Bfme anyway.

Some time later, I found that I just couldn't do without some LotR from time to time... but I really needed a mod with the proper feel to it, and I started checking how the mods I had previously played had progressed. I returned to SEE, and saw some AWESOME new screens and ideas (amongst them many I always wanted too have ingame, like Mordor walls), and a new version was out as well, so I gave it a try and was hooked instantly.

I was surfing T3A, and saw the baby version, but at the time, did not have BFME2, but it looked cool...so I kept it in mind. After getting BFME2, I (within the first week) started looking for mods, and came across this again.

What! You didn't have BfMe2 last year? ^^

Okay, since i now posted this, i might as well tell you how i came to become the S.E.E. coder.

I ran across the mod on t3a after i decided to restart my modding career and found out to my astonishment that my old mod was dead! :(

So i rummaged around at t3a to see the VERY LONG thread that nazzie had started. So i started to read. Then i downloaded the awesome pdf. I was hooked. At first i gave him a whole bunch of crazy coding ideas. At the same time i mentioned i'd be willing to code it in.

And then he slowly let me take a handle on the code. At first i sent him detailed instructions on how to incorporate the code into the existing files.
And then came a time where he entrusted me with the whole damn stack!

Well, here we are. I am quite happy that Nazgûl and i have the same ideas of how this mod is supposed to be 95% of the time. Makes our working relationship pretty smooth. :p

:p :p :p :p I'd say 95-99% of the time, we think about exactly alike. Sûl's like an extention of my own thoughts, with the exception that he has the ability to code it as well :p

MOD DB (moddb.com) for me. I think I originally just Googled BFME2 mods, but I follow a lot of mods thru moddb.

Now I want you to remember, no one has ever won a war, by nerfing the enemy.
Wars are won, when the other poor bastard gets beat so bad, he has to go and nerf YOUR army!
