Urgh Dolphin spam.. one of the most annoying things in vanilla YR.

In RS we get rid of Dolphins and the Squids (because like you would cram animals into a huge assed battle..)

Although in campaign it might be possible to have Dolphins to spy on the enemy as unbuildable scouts, at least thats what I suggested to Apollo :p

where did you get that voices? (i mean... program to modify the voice) i love the protoss like voices :p

I use Goldwave, Sony Soundforge, Adone Audition 2.0, Audio Edit Magic and so on to edit the voices :)

l give u negative and positive feedpack

negtve first: all osiris units are awesome ;) , but mod looks too much like tib sun, when l disappointed at super unit, which looks too much Mammoth Mark II :wacko: :ermm: :huh:
l though that super unit would be Avatar-like from CNC3.

but then positive: sounds! many mod-makers dont load to making units voices (like sudden strike).!!! l'm angered by that thing (listen for exmple tesla fighter/bomber, good unit but noices blemish it) because they only rise or low level of voice, or disarrange them. that is so..... so.... :p :) :xd: AAAARGH!
But your own voices make this mod unique :good: :)

Nobody is invincible in RS and heavy mech design would have never been anything like Avatar...speaking of avatar, it sucks major balls.

Initial heavy mech and otherwise mech inspiration came from this, see attachment pic ;)

why this kinda mech design for super unit? simple, i did not wish the unit be so easy to use with its devastating firepower given the medium mech is turreted and can challenge centurions already so super unit needed obvious flaw that players will have to adapt to (unit must turn to face targets to fire except bunkered troops) but given you can load gunners to man its bunker slots and use the yet unrevealed Osiris Special unit to assist it in battle, it can be then quite hard to stop.

hang back, it will all come clear when more of the osiris units is revealed and yes they do have special tactics other than just brutal force :good:

Not to mention balance/unit optimisations...

Game will play somewhat differently than you're used to, even with regular sides and familiar units. :good: For example there's a greater emphasis on infantry. They're significantly tougher than you're used to. Sure they can't toe-to-toe with vehicles for long but they will actually be able to get a shot or two off in many cases.

Infantry were only ever used to garrison or capture things (apart from Tiberian sun, Which showed infantry should be used for their versatility. Ice, weed, etc.)

Heavy mech support unit? what, like a super infantry that goes in it?

No, like AL has chrono prison, FL has electron tank, NX has corrupter tank, Osiris has...??? :good:

so it can used for supporting the whole army not just heavy mech ;)

Nanite detonator tank? Something like that?

Also, I used an electron tank once, and got it elite, after that Nexus scrambled it and it went crazy and destroyed the entire nexus base for me. :good:

basically your gonna be using the inf tab for more then cheap garrison or engineers, even old RS, showed infantry were more verstaile by expanding your base building space.
