This is a great Battlecast greatly detailing the new forces of NOD and GDI. Of course Skrin were not mentioned. ;) But to look closer GDI will now have a rocket trooper equivelant of the Zone Trooper. There will be Hammerhead Choppers. Strong against infantry, but also able to transport a squad as well as having the squad fire from the Hammerhead.

GDI will get a hover tank with quad cannons for antiair, as well as a hover tank with the infamous sonic cannon. This will be a subfaction specific series of units. Like the modified Orca that will launch sonic grenades upon an enemy.

NOD will recieve the stealthed artillary unit, which will allow Shadow units to place artillary beacons that will allow the artillary to fire from anywhere on the map to the shadows beacon. You'll have to detect and destroy that beacon.

CABALs old Cyborgs are making a comeback. The remnants have decided to support Kane and NOD in the end. So they will be having left arm anti-infantry weapond as well as right hand EMP anti-tank weapon.

Oh my, if I blow off thier legs, will they continue to follow and shoot at me? :lol:

One unit that made me :p was a moving vehicle that deploys into a permanant bunker and carries infantry, While this sounds dangerously close to my idea months ago about the same type of unit that deploys into a vehicle bunker, I'll assume this just HAPPENED to be by chance. ;)

But anyway, this is a must see for people seriously interested in knowing more about the units in Kanes Wrath.

So I'll call this a wrap. Thanks people for stopping by and stay tuned. I'm beginning to think CNC3 was simply a sandbox test project. After destinctly hearing the man say this is CNC3 first expansion pack gave me faith that we'll be enjoying this storyline for many excellant years to come.

You do it in alot of threads with completely irrelevant posts or posts that don't even convey anything at all (like the above).

LOL.

On topic though, it's funny how this Battlecast thing is actually turning out to be vaguely good, considering how everyone hated it because they thought it was going to be the mod sdk.

I like the idea behind the new artillery, works better than say DoWs artillery where you can shoot anywhere visible - gives the defending team a chance.

now why cant i say ho hum?, are there rules against ho hum or is it just me doing pointless posts like that all over the place?

To be honest, its not spamming. BUT I SHALL TRY TO CUT DOWN ON MY REGULAR DOSE OF IMMENSE PILLS.

I think the battlecast is sort of cheesy, but you do get some good info from it, that YOSHI (blatently not spelled like that) fellow tries to be funny, but really really isnt.

yeh i like the zone raider too i rekon its about time the zone trooper got some aa skills its going to be interesting with what new ugrades we have now and biuldings too i hope theres new ones its going to be quiet i treat watching gameplay trailers :) :blink:

One thing I noticed about KW: It has some really great ideas and stuff in it.

But it seems more like a big patch than an expansion pack....all it does is add a couple things to Nod and GDI. Not really like an expansion pack.

There's the global conquest mode; definitely more than just a unit or two. A new campaign might appeal to some people (either for bashing EA or loving em); not everyone can come up with a convincing story.

Something like a cabal sub faction with those cyborgs and something..?

The most appealing bit of KW for me is the new campaign mode.. well if its really as good as it could be..

i know theres a sonic sub faction for GDI and blackhand for nod but i think theres a elite sub faction for scrin since the units i've seen are have elite with there names :)

Very much looking forward to it.. AI would have to be coded to lay that beacon down for the Spectre Artillery to fire at it BUT I assume adopting the GDI Sniper/Juggernaut xml code would be simple enough.

But wow.. expansion sounds QUITE tasty!
