Dont forget about Macross Frontier that starts this week as well.

I really enjoyed Gundam 00. I mean most of your guys argument is over 1 or 2 characters, but thats hardly what makes up a series.

You couldnt ask for better animation quality I thought it was amazing. Hardly any reused animation if any and the fights were some of the best ive seen. I loved most of the mobile suit designs.

Story wise I think its pretty strong, no its not perfect but what series is? It slowed down a little about mid way but that common of a lot of series as well.

As for Graham in the big scheme of things(both season 1 and 2) I dont think getting his GN flag is going to be he big shining moment so for what it was I thought they did just fine with it. I agree they may have over hyped it a bit, but to be honest by the end Graham didnt have a huge role in the overall story. All he was doing was taking revenge for some of his comrades. After this last battle I would actually say this is just the beginning of his rivalry with Setsuna and will make for some better action in the next season.

I think there is a lot of potential for season 2 and I am looking forward to it.

Completly agree, the animation was a joy to watch and come on people how meny sick fights/ mobilesuits were in this series.

As for the ending heres my interpritation, at the end you see 3 bays, 1 is empty, 1 has Gundam 0 in it, and 1 has Gundam 00 in it. This leads me to the point that the suit flying through space aka the empty bay belongs to Gundam 000. Now Gundam 0's GN drive was removed and put in Gundam 00 but they mentioned it was not compatible, they also stated that Exia's GN drive might be compatible (or not). So i think thats where we stand for season 2, the whole glass slipper thing with setsun putting Exia's GN drive in 00 and it springs to life.

Yes. You are absolutely right, each episode did have some form of fighting and I though that was pretty cool because the series never has a dull moment.

I would also like to apologize to you guys. I was having a rough couple of days when I saw the last episode of Gundam 00 and that why I said so many negative
things about it. In reality I really like the series, but at that time i was angry and needed to b**** at something. I hope you guys can forgive me for it.

personally, thats fine, freedom. I did take the issue quite far too, and im easier to piss off nowadays, thanks to my upcoming national service. *cough*forced enlistment*cough*. Speaking of which, since this is the most frequently visited topic i think might be a good place to say i'll be away for 2 weeks starting next friday because of my enlistment, and i'll only be able to visit the forum on weekends for another 2 and a half months after that, since i after my first two weeks i still have to stay in-camp on weekdays.

Screw my country...keeping me away from my precious com for 5 days a week...

As for the AMV, its great, favorited and playlisted

Stay safe man. well, even if a draft breaks out, which I doubt it will in the US, I'll probably be illegible anyways.

hmm can they draft non-citizens? if they do the concept is just stupid >.>0

Nope, they cant draft non-citizens, at least in the US. In my case though, i'll be in for 2 years, then on retainer for re-enlistment in war-time for the next ten. Sucks. Screwed-up Singapore. I gripe most about 2 years lost which i can use for university.

you might complain about things like that, and the tightening of freedom in the States, but ive got it really...how would you put it? Since we only have one political party, we're pretty much socialist. Ive lived in the US before, for a few years, and i have to say, appreciate what you've got, cuse we have almost as little freedoms here as china. The only two differences is that true, the government isnt brutal or anything...and they're very nice about telling you how preferable security is over freedom. If you visited, you'd see a very prosperous city. I see the most subtle oppression in the world.

Lol, so now that gundam 00 is over, we turn to revan's tales of woe and nationality.

Well considering that I was born in China and lived there for 11 years before coming to ths US lol.

Hmm, All I can remember is a completely corrupt society, in which you can almost brobe your way through anything. good in some cases, terrible in most others.

Freedoms have their perks, I'll give you that, but there's also the problem of people misinterpreting that freedom as the ability for them to do whatever they want. leading to alot of criminal problems and so on. the justice system is also pretty bad, considering the balance between justice and rights is almost never aligned.

You mean...that vid can get better?!

As for your comments crusader...yeah that sounds very familiar. Its just...more discreet, if you get what i mean.

Im not saying i live in a north korea clone, but id really rather be anywhere else. Its like a...a...very sunny and bright looking evil.

Since we're still in a gundam 00 topic, i might as well put this up for discussion. Is gundam 00 a precursor to the UC century? And if it is, then is turn a gundam canon, in terms of stating that all the series are different eras in the same timeline.

Gundam 00 is in a whole different setting than the rest of the gundam series, since it actually happened in the AD callendar, which we are in. it is not an alternate universe setting, it's our current universe lol.

Besides, it wouldnt make sense at all to group Gundam 00 with any of the UC timelines, since we apparently have very advanced MS technology on Earth already, not space colonies having it while earth sits around with crappyass tanks.

So no, all the UC series are in their own timeline. Turn-A is an alternate universe of UC. CE is different completely again, and Gundam 00's AD, well, that's self explainatory. lol

I think its b/c viewers wanted to see something more appealing to them, something to relate to the current situation of our world...

rather than the old "this is what the future will be (warp flying ships, no human conflict, peace on earth, technology that can create pizza in a blink of an eye)" cliche

Theres alot of discussion on this going around. See, turn A proported that timelines like UC, after war, even the g gundam universe, are all the same timelin,e but with centuries seperating each era. Most people never bought it so its not canon.

But here we have, at the end of gundam 00, an earth federation. We also have a gundam that looks like the original RX, and gundam 00 looks like it has more traditional gundam characteristics too.

I do not want it to be related to uc in anyway, but looking at the details...uc has to start somewhere, obviously at some point in that universe the calender was AD as well. Notice how there is a shifting focus to building space colonies, now that the solar arrays are finished. They can easily explain that later, the rings got destoryed and GN drives and MS became lost technology. people tried to regain the technology and the first to return were Zakus...and the lost tech GN drive is the inspiration for minovsky particles. Its not much of a stretch.

warp flying ships, no human conflict, peace on earth, technology that can create pizza in a blink of an eye

Btw, among other things i worship star trek...and i do believe in such a future. Or that one is possible at least. Anyway its not much of a stretch...ask a roman emperor if there could be such a world as we live in now and he'll scoff at you.The future is what you make it, if you dont believe in such a future...obviously you dont get one.
