Ok i have 2 problems,
1:i have made a 3D model of a building for my mod, with and without nodes, but its not in 3D Studio Max, so cant textuer.
2: I cant move the light source to make it fit into the light view of Ra2.

So can some one please texture it (put the correct colours on it and make it look Ra2 like) and can some one please change the light direction on them. Please

Thanks.

Nop sorry, Its ProDesktop 2000i2. I know i cant change the light, and i know i cant texture, as the program dont suport it, it is meant for technical engenearing drawings and 3D design. But i dont have 3Dsm and dont know how to use it properly. so tis the only one i can use.

Can you export to any useful file formats that 3DSM can read?

nice idea, but there realy isnt anything that you can copy and paste, that meets the style that i was hopeing for, that is why i started doing the 3D. But you are willing to try and see what comes out of it :)

why don't you mirror the pic draw it backwards then use something else to flip it horizontally? that would put the shadow on the right side

Specs, hmm i dont realy know i think for the modeling its about 600-700mhz, 64mb ram and 16mb graphic. But i think for the texturing that it uses, and the extra BluePrint drawing and other graphical engenering drawings, add another 100mhz or so, and 32mb ram, and you should be able to do it. :)

As for the draw backwards, ill give it a go at swinging it round. But if i have to remodel then i aint spending 12hours to try and get it back to what it looks like. But i will try. The other thing is, i still cant texture it with what i need. (Pure materials fine, reflective metals and glass and plastic, but not bmp's.)

Cant you download it?
anyways, any one actualy got the time or the luck to actualy make the building and skin it and all that?? If so then go to the thread "incredible offer" to see what you can get. Oh and the origional concepts are there to look at and use to make the buildings.
Thanks
