I just downloaded a free trial of a screen capture program that can capture cursors. You still won't get the true feel of the animated cursors, but still...

Next one to be made is the attack cursor, then maybe set rally point.

Don't worry, I'm also working on getting the Goa'uld fortress actually working as a fortress.

Um... How are fortress doors supposed to work, with them being separate models and all? Not many tutorials on that.

Animations make them move, delete the vertexes behind then animate the door :ohmy:, looks really nice though, what positions do you need for your mod?

Well, since you asked, I think the biggest help right now would be an organic modeler/skinner who could make units while I'm busy designing and modeling all of the buildings. Second most helpful would be a good coder and maybe animator to get said units to actually work.

Keep in mind that most units will need to be modeled from scratch, just like the buildings.

Guess who,
i think you need to be capable of making good skins before joining this mod.
what we've seen from you ain't that great and to have some strange things with two legs walking through a stargate when it's finished isn't my idea of a great Stargate mod... :)

Okay... It's become clear to me that I'm going to need a good coder I can at least talk to on MSN or Skype when I need to. I'm having a hard time figuring some of this stuff out. :rolleyes: (Mainly replacing Mordor faction files/folders with ones named Goa'uld right now.)

I have yet to completely Replace/DesignFromScratch a full faction. Any other basic questions though, ask me in the open forum for BfME2/RotWK. I will most certainly take a good look, as will many others probably. But check out the vast 'archive' of previous question posts first (using the search function). There are some valuable treasures buried there, like the old tutorial section that hasn't been taken down yet (thank god it stays that way), but isn't accessible anymore through the forum link tree.

Edit: i realized you have done so already, just didn't read through the last weeks of that forum's posts. :rolleyes:

Thanks for the support. I'll see if I can find that special tutorial section.

As for the new faction, right now I'm going through all of the Mordor structure INIs and updating EVERYWHERE that says Side = Mordor to Side = Goa'uld, and I'll do the same for the unit INIs. Maybe then I can change the folder name without crashing the game. Does this sound like a good plan of attack to you? I'm just taking stabs in the dark here...

Right now it's kind of a cheap hack though, it's still using all the code for a Mordor fortress and I just modified the .bse. :mad2: Yes, I'm aware there are still no shadows.

[Edit] No screenie, but shadows are fixed now.

Looks neat.
It has been reported that some victims of rape, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being raped. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP
