How is this topic not ok when there is a 60 something page thread about how everyone who believes in God is a moron?

Bingo nar, the hypocrisy of the far left. Notice how many times I "educate" them that muslims are a religion not a race, yet they keep insisting I'm racist, yet will not answer the question why it's ok to bash jews and christians but not muslims. They simply won't answer the question.

Also notice who the real tyrants are, the far left. Notice how they try to shout you down. If they fail at that. Than they try to shut you down. It's typical of them. They only enjoy freedom of speech when the speech is in thier favor.

I never tried to shut them up, or shut them down. MSpencor is far left and is free to write any article he wants, I'll not stop him or censor him. I encourage the far left to speak thier minds so people can really see the stupidity and hypocrisy.

Please far left, keep talking trash. I'm all for it. The more you do it the more correct I am in my observations. And I'm not even far right, imagine if a real far right conservative began arguing their points.

Now if you want to bash and name call go post in HoP, if you want to discuss and exchange ideas, than you are gonna have to answer a few questions as well to support your words. I don't find that happening from the far left in this world.

MSpencers replies with (most of the time) well thought out replies and rebuttels. Duke, the same. Hyrid the same. It's the nature of people to dissagree. I've learned alot from them by listening to what they have to say.

What can I possibly learn from people who simply drop 2 sentence forum bombs without even attempting to counter any point I made?

For the final irony, the same people argue that jews are a religion and not a race. Now go figure THAT hypocrisy out. Because I can't make any sense of it...

Being athiest is like being given a coloring book but no crayons. Now what fun is that? Adding color is silly because it distracts from the real meaning of the image, black and white lines. My goodness, it's so obvious if you're a scientist and well educated and such. Bah Humbug...

Though this explanation is one of the more rational ones ive heard that explains religious belief, I still don't think it makes sense.

I know a fair number of religous people, and I can honestly say that they are the most simple close minded and people I know (Im not using this in an inflammatory sense, but in a literral sense).

Of course there are exceptions, but I get the feeling its like their mind shuts out a whole other dimension of thought, like they can only see in 2D while I can see in 3D.

Their minds do not question, there minds do not inquire, their minds do not look at anything with awe, mystery and curiosity. For them everything is known and everything is discovered. That is the root of religious belief; collective minds that are too simple, lazy or stubborn to accept that God is not the answer to everythign we have not yet explained.

In a way I pity the devoutly religious, because it is them who are seeing the black and white images while I can see the full colour spectrum.

While I left on an angry note and wanted to wait for their replies, I decided this post was so good I had to reply now. I am amazed how you have shown a perspective that is totally opposite of mine and did it logically. I can see how you feel the way you do.

You find religious people 2d as in: life and good or bad.

And science as that third dimension of understanding, while I saw it the other way around as life, science, and religion as the third dimension of consciousness understanding.

While our lists contradict each other. I find your thoughts very wise and enabled me to better understand a different view. For that I thank you, I took a few minutes of my time to digest your point of view.

The more I interact with people on this blog, the more I will learn. Interesting perspective Cossack. I truly mean that.

Also, wishes are theorical, not pratical. He didn't explain how he thinks that his wishes should be applied. There is nothing that prevents everyone from having these rights with a well implemented neoliberalism, although I prefer to believe on Santa Claus than on well implemented neoliberalism

I can agree with you. Even capitalism has it's left version. Even US far left are not trully communists. So I can't go there either. Is Spencer far left? I'd rather for him to actually answer that. According to the US he appears far left. But in regards to world stature, he's only far left under US standards.

See the world is a large neighborhood. And it's getting smaller everyday. So people in the US are not willing to succumb to the average government controled lifestyle that alot of the world "enjoys"

So that's why many people in the US get uncomfortable when left wing people want to bring us in alignment with the rest of the world.

The reason why is, alot of the world is fucked up. While our society is more on the cutting edge and do NOT want to be demarginalized in order to bring our average lifestyle down to the level of other nations.

I'm sure you can understand why? I don't want to be a citizen of the world. I don't want my income (as a nation) to be "in comparison" with 3rd world or 2nd world nations. I'd rather we simply do it right, and send our excess (as a nation) to those nations that need, in well coordinated financial efforts.

There is a story of a child who crawled and another who walked. Both children were put into the same room so that one who walks could teach the other to walk. And both ended up learning to crawl.
